Description
After being invited to participate in the Beta run of a new Full-Immersion Virtual Reality RPG, Ardacen Winters and 1999 others learn that it is also a race to reach the level cap of one hundred. The prizes are grand, but the chance to be the first players in this new game might be worth more than the prizes themselves.
This is a Lit-RPG, a humble homage to all the others who precede it and hopefully an inspiration to anyone with a story in their own head that needs to be shared.

- Omnis RaRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0I loved this story from the start. The characters are really good and you want to see what happens next
- crpgnutRoyal Road★★★ 2.5So, unlike contradictions review, I didn't find the focus of the book to be wet panties. Instead, this is the story of a professional gamer who decides to play as a blue mage (receives skills from monster kills) in a newly released game that has contests for various achievements. Instead of grinding out kills, the protagonist decides to head out into the country and solve quests instead. This turns out to be more lucrative and he finds a bunch of handicapped people to assist as they're being harmed by the typical evil noble.
Excellent book and the 54 chapters flew by for me. Lots of interesting skills, good little romance, nice friendships and a community that grows together as the story progresses.
However, 30 chapters later and the goals are still the same as they were. The book has stagnated and is extremely repetitive at this point. Even the same big-bads haven't been dealt with and they keep popping up like an infomercial. Some books just overstay their welcome. - ContradictionRoyal Road★★ 2.0Holy shit I went on a tangent. Look, nothing new here. It's been a couple days, so it's not as fresh as it should be. Here's what you need to know.
As the title suggests, it's a race to lvl 100.
MC takes the route less traveled (by that I mean walking into bumfuck nowhere), to a village? Of castaways, and is greatly rewarded by it. Pretty much has started to snowball in outleveling the competition worse than a MOBA. But who knows, maybe theres a plot twist later down the line.
Women fall head over heels for the M.C. for literally no reason. Seriously, if she has a vagina shes gushing for our m.c.
Already has control over a dungeon/village thingy that is apparently completely unique and damn near game breaking.
I stopped reading this at chapter 27, 28?
I try to be more constructive with my criticism, but I honestly cant remember much from 2 days ago when I binged your story. Which in itself is a problem. Only thing I know is stop creating females whose sole purpose is to fawn over the m.c. for no reason. Its dumb. You can have them fawn over him, but it's got to be more than just glancing at him and suddenly having a case of the frothy loins.
Look, I'm not hating on this because its wish fulfillment. I'm hating on it because it's bad wish fulfillment. "A Step Into The Past" is one of my favorite stories, and that's about as wish fulfillment as you can get.
A common problem with VRMMO's is the constant monotonous fighting. The action becomes boring, so you've gotta draw people in another way. And it puts everything else in your story under a microscope. You might have some decent things in your story, but I was too busy focusing on the things that poked me in the eye. Like every single female character.
FINAL VERDICT: Dont go into this with high expectations. Read only if waiting on chapters to come out from your favorite story. Not a bad first attempt.
