Description

Read the series on Amazon!

Dungeon: A place full of monsters, traps, treasure, and death. Those are the Great Dungeons, with unplumbed depths below the roots of the mountains.

That's not for me.

Dungeon: A place of rape, torture, and death, to control and corral enemies and slaves. These are the Red Cores, from which the mage-kings draw their power.

That's also not for me.

I don't like monsters. I don't want adventurers. I want to stay well away from enemies and slaves.

Fortunately, there are alternatives...

I like litrpg novels alot but finding a properly written one here on royalroadl.com is like looking for a hay colored needle in a haystack. So when ever I find a gem I always write this comment................? 🤣

This is a hell of a story. Surprised I didn't encounter it earlier, with as many LitRPGs as I've read.
After the first sex scene I was a little sceptical with the direction this was going, but despite how graphic those scenes are they do play an important role in the story without taking up too much of the content. This isn't smut, though if you're into that there's enough of it to satisfy you.
Overall a very interesting take on the dungeon core genre with a great cast of characters and a lot of interesting concepts.
An addictive, binge-able read which I finished in a couple of weeks of non-stop reading outside of work. The story moves at a hell of a pace, with very few lulls, and definitely keeps you interested. I'm glad I came to this just as it was being completed as otherwise this would be one of those I was desperately waiting for the next chapter of!
Style: Great writing with a firm grasp of constantly moving along the plot in a very binge-able manner.
Story: Overall just a great and unique story.
Characters: very good characters, suffers a tiny bit from the arrogant-young-master trope of opponents that carries over from xianxia, but much less than many similar stories, and overall characterisation is very strong.
    Grammer: No complaints here.

So, I finally finished binge reading Blue Core. It drew me in very quickly and I loved the character arcs and the story in general. The sex scenes were done quite tastefully in my opinion and did make me fantasise a bit haha. Was sad to see it end, though I hope more stories, even short ones, could be written in the Blue Core universe. Thank you author for the time and passion in writing this!

I have read and re-read this story about 3 or 4 times since I discovered it last month. I honestly struggled with the first couple of chapters, but once I got Shayma's first visit, I was hooked. I keep coming back because of her and her relationship with Blue. I want to know what happens next!

Loved the way the author changed up the usual dungoen core formula and am looking forward to seeing the main character interact with the other characters, hopefully with a body soon

I thank the author for a good story.  Well done.  The wrap up was a pleasant surprise as well.  Too often the threads are just ended in an unsatisfactory way.  Here, though, the time staged finish was polished and considered.  No complaints at all.  I plan to seek out the other works.

It's been a while that I've been this bummed over finishing a story. I definitely want more in this universe. Could even pull a page from how The Edge Chronicles did it, and have a new main character related to the previous one, for a new trilogy. (That series has like 4 trilogies, each with a main character related, in some way, to the previous one.)

I have always liked stories where the mc is a dungeon and they grow their dungeon. The story and characters are great I love the characters of this novel. Do wish the mc wasn't so trusting of everyone and stoped giving super valuable stuff to everyone he meets. Other than that highly recommend this novel.

I really enjoyed reading Blue Core. I think it's a solid fantasy, the worldbuilding is quite clever and surprising but matches the overall theme very nicely. I liked that the style od writing and main focus od action meandered and explored different topics.
I would wholeheartedly recommend Blue Core to every fantasy apreciator.

Good power-fantasy where main character is base-building with game like system, sex, magic-tech exploration, satisfying end, but quite a bit lose ends on the story's periphery. But still worth to read if you like this stuff.
Blue Core is trying to be too many things all at once and author is going in too many directions with no real plan how to wrap it all up. Too many "side stories" and side characters are touched, but not followed up on. In the story's defence it goes in one direction in the end and the main things are wrap up quite satisfactory. The ending didnt face palm into the dirt and actualy saved it. Actually one of the few good (but raw) gems in the dungeon novels (probably because the dungeon-building is turned into local-diety-management kinda things).
Main character is bland, but simpatic, and his companions are interesting. Side characters and villans are forgetable and slowly pushed aside to make space for our hero's way to allpowerfullesness. Standard stuff for power-fantasy. Nothing bad, but nothing special character-vise.
Over all the novel is something special, mostly because Dungeon novels are big garbage pile where this piece of raw quartz shines like a clear diamond. If someone ask me for good Dungeon novel I will point them here and who know's maybe I may go for a reread someday.
