The story sells itself well with the cover and summary, and I feel like the writing follows through, too. It was funny and playful and kept my attention.
Style
There's a ton of voice here since we've got 1st person POV present tense. It's quick and snappy and easy to read. I think the style also really matches the contemporary comedy genre, not taking itself too seriously, which I think provides a great counterpoint to the urban fantasy/supernatural/isekai genre. I think the cover does a great job conveying this style, too.
Grammar
Nothing caught my eye grammar-wise, which means it's probably pretty clean.
Story
I'm enjoying the story so far. As I said, I feel like it follows through with what's promised by the cover and summary. I do feel like the first few chapters maybe don't do enough in terms of immersing us in the world, but they do set up the story well.
Character
Because of the POV choice and since the MC's voice comes through so well, this is what really shines to me. In addition, the characters we meet are all so interesting and different. Feels like a recipe for the best kind of chaos.
Looking forward to more and hoping for some longer chapters as well so I can really sink my teeth into this.
