Bleedingheart Station - Stranded in Upsilon Andromedae

Captain Garrick Dasbartin had expected resistance and trouble when he was asked to take control over the distant system of Upsilon Andromedae. Promised a hefty pension and a priceless beach house upon returning from the estimated ninety-year travel, he expected hardship. Perhaps even resistance and competition.

What he hadn't expected was to be stranded amidst the debris of his and another fleet, the Precursor Shipslinger destroyed, and thousands of cry-frozen crew slowly dying.

Equipped with an X4 implant that seems broken, he needs to get the one thing up and running that could save them all. The ship's AI. The problem? It might just be the thing responsible for getting them stranded dozens of light years from the nearest human outpost.

Release schedule: highly unstable.I do this as a side story besides my main story, Irwin's Journey, and I only have time during the week for it. Sadly, that makes the release schedule dodgy. I'd like to say a minimum of 1 chapter per 2 weeks, but I've already failed that a few times.
