Description

First volume available on Amazon now. After the car crash, Silas didn’t wake up on the side of the road, or in the hospital, but inside a strange facility decades into the future, with a new body built for battle, and no memory of how he got there or what it all means.

Now, he’s on the run from killer androids and the army of automatons they control, in a dystopian, post apocalyptic landscape ravaged by war.

The only way for him to save what’s left of humanity and recover his memory is to go directly into the heart of the beast, confronting his most powerful enemies in order to take their special abilities—called Protocols—as his own.

What readers say about Blast Protocol

  • So far I am loving this story, after so much litrp and similar stuff its nice to come back to a place where there isn't a system detailing everything. The style is nice and too the point. Gives great details but doesn't bog down with explanation. Only gripe…

  • I picked up Blast Protocol because of the cover which is amazing - it’s got that older sci-fi / NES cartridge art look to it that hooked me as a kid and, apparently, still works now. I read on to chapter two because the writing is excellent, and I kept read…

So far I am loving this story, after so much litrp and similar stuff its nice to come back to a place where there isn't a system detailing everything.
The style is nice and too the point. Gives great details but doesn't bog down with explanation. Only gripe is later around chapter 50, it turns multi-POV. Nothing to cry over, took a sec to get used too, but it changes every chapter which is really annoying. Also some chapters can be short at times but they do make up for it with really good long chapter as well, and never at critical times.
The story so far is great, very interesting and attention grabbing to the point I nearly binged it all in one night. Lots to get into and we are just barley touching it as of the most recent chapter and it looks like we are in for some good stuff. Its very well split I feel between action and plot and it builds a very interesting picture of what is happening to the MC. As for the actual content I love sci fi and it is pretty nice to get a break from blue boxes and levels and all that. There is some involvement with a system but its due to mc being part robot so its an actual computer one and is more of one that works for the user rather than just notify them of changes.
As for the MC I really enjoy his charector. He has some flaws that are core to the story in very interesting ways.
Also pretty big as one being is a struggling alcoholic as well which is not overplayed in the story and fits in very well for the narrative being built so far
Other charectors too aren't static or just cut outs either they have depth to them as well and it would be interesting to learn more about some of them and their story too.
Grammer it is very clean and flows very well. I'm not exactly critical about this but no glaring errors or anything from what I can see.

I picked up Blast Protocol because of the cover which is amazing - it’s got that older sci-fi / NES cartridge art look to it that hooked me as a kid and, apparently, still works now.
I read on to chapter two because the writing is excellent, and I kept reading because the action kicks the pace up to eleven and has only just begun to slow down long enough to expand the story. From the MC’s amnesiac discovery of this new, post apocalyptic world the story grows to encompass a competently introduced, multi-threaded set of plots and intrigue I can’t wait to see come crashing into glorious conflict.
Give it a read, it’s good. You’re going to like it.
