Description
When an average person is thrust into a world of magic, gods, power and monsters, how will they cope. How will they overcome the challenges that are persistently thrust in their path? Presented with choices that carry the weight of lives, decisions that have the power to influence masses and nations, how will they react? Isaac Duran was first faced with a choice, a choice in his preferred afterlife. Given little time to think through such a monstrous decision, his first choice in a new life was made. Thrust through the multiverse he found himself as a baby, once again powerless and meek. But this time he had most of his memories from before. With those memories and the dissatisfaction of his previous life - a good life albeit boring and constrained - will he be able to rise to the top of his new world Ravos? Notes- What to expect weak to strong MC Driven but slightly aimless MC A mix of crafting(blacksmithing, spellcraft, and enchanting), combat, and slice of life Slow start/ slowish pacing. Confident characters, but not overly cocky Work in progress/second draft Using an editing aid, mostly for spelling, punctuation and grammar checks but occasionally (Rarely) for help with sentence structure. Removed the "AI assisted" tag after reading the RR guidelines, as I don't use it in the way that tag spells out. I do still use ProWritingAid to help edit grammar and punctuation, as well as to help guide me when it comes to clunky or poorly written sentences, but I always rewrite those sentences and never accept the AI suggested changes. - JohnblackstoneRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0I am really enjoying the rewrite. I think the slower pace helps connect a bit more with the mc. I will be interested to see where the story ends up in comparison to your original version. I am a fan of spellsword like classes in litrpg, and your version has enough variance to be boring.

it was written well, and the writing makes sense as to the direction the MC is taking and how the people around him interact with the MC. - Luther KrellicRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0This is one of those stories that has benefited tremendously from the author continually learning their craft. I was at first a little leery about the prospect of reading a rewrite, but this is one of the best I’ve ever read here on Royal Road. I really enjoy the new pacing. It’s slow without feeling stretched, giving the reader plenty of time to get to know the characters and soak in the atmosphere; and it’s packed with the details that make the story fun to read.
I am curious and excited to see which direction the story will take.
I strongly recommend this story to any reader who wants to feel like the characters they’re reading about are three dimensional instead of cardboard cut outs. - FastFoodNationRoyal Road★★★★ 4.0A nice, cozy story that deserves some recognition. Cozy meaning that the pacing is exactly right. I was unsure about this story at first because it doesn't stand out exactly, the concept has been done hundreds of times. I just think the execution, if not extraordinary has been done right.
Worldbuilding is good, characters are done well, interactions are fresh, emotions come across as natural. The system is non-intrusive and done right.
If you want to read about about someone finding meaning, his role in his second life and the friends, human and animal he makes along the way, this story is for you.
I like it.
Thx for sharing the story with me.
