Description
THERE ARE REASONS WE FEAR THE NIGHT. HE’S NOT ONE OF THEM.
Loud-mouthed gamer Bill Ryder thought the dice had finally rolled in his favor when he met Sally. Sadly, his triumph quickly turned into a critical failure – leaving him at death’s door with his throat torn out.
Now he’s a vampire, trapped in a world of monsters that are stronger, deadlier, and a hell of a lot cooler. They’re giving him just ninety days to prove he has what it takes to be an apex predator of the night, assuming he doesn’t give them a reason to dust his ass sooner.
This game isn’t over yet, though. Turns out a vamp like Bill hasn’t been seen in centuries. He’s got a few tricks up his sleeve, unexpected allies, and an attitude that’s too obnoxious to quit. He’ll need all that and more if he doesn’t want to end up even deader than last time.
Join him in this hilarious tale of bloodthirsty beasts, gory mayhem, and an unlikely hero who’s still at the bottom of the food chain.

- BillUnderBridgeRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0This story has a lot of good going for it.
it is funny, and digs deep for the references, but has some of the best back and forth between characters I have read.
This story also has some of the best dark world building you will find out there. Seeds are planted and grow the world, and the stakes steadily but relentlessly.
I highly recommend this to anyone who likes dark, horror comedy. - IamnothughRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0The Bill the Vampire Universe is a great alternate world setting for Urban Fiction and Fantasy. Bill and his friends as characters are written well and if you've ever been in a friend group like theirs you know the dialogue and the way they treat each other is 100% accurate.
Don't stop with this book... go on and read the rest of the series and the spinoffs.. they're well worth your time. - sorveira arvRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Wellcome into Royalroad Rick Im happy of having you here among us. Im an old fan of The Tome of Bill horror comedy series.
Ok Im gonna start the review now lol. This series is a great mix of Dresden files book series and The Big Bang Theory TV series. While the humor is a little more mature or juvenile depending of your point of view its unapologetic about it and funier becouse of it. No one gonna acuse the author of being a master of prose like Rothfuss or a master of horror like King neither a master of the use of humor in books like the Ilona andrews author couple. He offers however a good confortable reading material for anyone that is a fan of urban fantasy and dont care about a more shallow humor (thats not an insult but a fact one of the book titles is 'the mourning woods' and Im not even go into the main antagonist name on it lol). Overall if you want vampire reading experience that is the inverse of twilight without going all grindark edgloerd with a serius amount of humor thats the book for you. Ps the facebook acounts of the characters are ilarious lmao - ArtNJRoyal Road★★★★★ 4.5I read like 5 or so books in this series. Seems there are 8 now, though some might be side novels. Not sure how much your going to be getting for free here. Most but not all of the books are free if you have kindle unlimited. The books do a really nice job of mixing some humor into a nerd-becomes-a-vampire adventure. The humor is pretty decently integrated, so doesn't generally feel over-the-top. In lieu of an in depth summary, I'd suggest trying a chapter or two. You'll pretty much see exactly what your getting.
Recommended. If you like the first couple of chapters.
