Description

For two thousand years, the scattered remnants of humanity have receded to live lives under the safety of their ingenuity.  The Monstrum - the highly adaptable predator of Man now walk the free lands while the ashen skeletons of a past, grand civilization bleaches under the cruel, uncaring tooth of time.

In the Land of Cradle, the Children of Bravelle walked under the shadows of walls and caves. In the sea, the Children of Logos lived in complete darkness in the crushing depths of the abyss and outside the protective geography of the Cradle of Mankind, the savages waged an endless war of attrition against the Monstrum.

After thousands of years of hiding in shame, the unchecked tide of horrors finally met resistance - courageous warriors united under a common cause; the reunification of humanity and the destruction of the Monstrum.

The Orders of Warriors gave their best men to form the Ghasts who would serve as the Governor’s tools for the reclamation in the bloodiest war ever known for the races of Men - the Purge of Cradle and the subsequent push for the frontier.

Finally, a humanity divided for millennia now stand united against the unending tide of the Monstrum as Cradelian feet tread grounds not trodden in thousands of years. It is in these days that we find ourselves observing Logan - a Ghast of the Governor’s hands, as he and his companions seek to uncover the remaining sources of the Monstrum still oppressing the peripheral citizens of Cradle.

TL;DR : Absolutely amazing dark plot and worldbuilding, good characters, style is okay.
The characters are all quite well defined, thay don't feel like cardboard copies of one another. They have their own needs and wants, and even the ones that seem quite close to a trope usually have a thing or two to make them feel real. None of them have struck me as "ohmygod best cahracter ever ", but with time, some of them just may. Well, one of them at least ( love you Logan ).
The grammar is good. Accurate and extensive vocabulary, despite english not being the author's first or second language.
The story is fantastic ! Enough mystery and meaningful interactions to make you want more and dream of what could be next. The reveals are well done, often very surprising, and never feel contrived. The world is very well built, and things are hidden in simple off-hand comments, which only adds to the realism. It makes for a very interesting read if you pay attention. Again, the plot is great.
My main gripe lies in the style. I would just like to say that it is easily carried by the story and this novel is very much worth your time. In the beginning it's hard to get really attached to the characters since we switch pov's every chapter, and not in the same settings. You get used to it after ~15 chapters. I know it's stupid, but this is my review, my feelings. Suck it. Apart from that, it's very correct, if somewhat lacking comparing to the other qualities of this story. Some turns of phrase are great, and the vocabulary is well used as to not feel bland, but I'd advise the author to focus on showing and not telling just a bit more.
All in all, a novel I'm happy to read, and which I'll eagerly follow.
Thanks to the author for writing it !

Ok the good ; ,well written, good dialogue, well fleshed out characters. Everyone in the storyline feels "real".
The bad ; very earthy, the sexual aspects of the story is very "in your face," kind of aspect. That being said that is just my opinion and I'm aware of the relationship between opinions and arseholes.
    Otherwise a very good story
