Description

Leven lived his entire life being the best person he could possibly be, careful to never let his anger issues define him or hurt anyone. He was known for his kindness despite his disorder, and was proud of it, until he finds out that it might've all been for nothing when the people he cares about the most don't feel the same to him.

Betrayed, he attempts to lash out at someone for the first and only time in his life, only for it to result in an unsatisfying death he refuses to accept. His soul's struggle against the end eventually garners attention from outside powers, and he is rescued by something calling itself the System. In return for a second life, it tells him he must ascend to Godhood and beyond before the damaged System loses energy and dies, destroying a section of the multiverse with it.

Now reincarnated into a brutal new primitive world, the quest is quickly forgotten as he struggles to survive, much less ascend. Despite that, a fire within him continues to push him to a future he can hardly see.

What to expect:

- Bloody world with original monsters, I do not copy other works.

- Slow burn to power, faster pace of events. This may, at times, result in noteworthy things happening jarringly quick(specifically after chapter 20. Please do not leave an instant review before chapter 20. It may not be for everyone, but after 20 is when you know whether you'll like it or not).

- Deep lore that isn’t always spelled out directly for the reader.

- MC will sometimes make mistakes that cannot be undone. He must live with these mistakes and fix the results of them instead (that being said, he will not be unreasonably stupid either. If the reader can see an obvious solution, he will as well).

- Strong MC in a stronger world. He will not be OP anywhere near the start, even though it may seem like it at a glance. VERY high power cap for him to grow into.

- There will be times when it seems like the story falls into certain typical pitfalls of the LitRPG Genre. IT DOESN'T. I throw curveballs a chapter or two later.

Please also remember this is my first story. Early on, I was very inexperienced and learning things as I went. I've been told that my work gets visibly better at times (I've been told "After chapter fifty" by like 8 people independently lmao) and worse at others as I learned how to mesh my ideas. I'm proud of it, and I have fun rereading it every time I do, but I'm well aware of how unpolished it is, especially in the early chapters.

Release schedule is 1 chapter every Monday/Wednesday/Friday from 12-2pm EST.

There are many reasons i like this story .          I look forward to each and every chapter .  One of my favourite novels on royal road.one thing i love the most about this story is that author tries to bring unique monsters into the story instead copy pasting existing ones from other stories.

Very solid writing, very few in any glaring mistakes. Frequent updates. Mc doesn't feel op. MC still have all the unique mc system interactions that lit RPG books employ. Still fun. Specifically the main character has unique interactions with strong individual. The mc has unique trait and abilities. The mc is on a special more powerful path. Yet so far is distinctly not op. They work with others too

This is easily one of the best books on RR. The plot is well thought out and develops at a steady pace, though it does speed up in terms of leveling around ch 120. I believe its only flaw is a lack of really developed secondary characters. However, considering the mc lives primarily in the wilderness, I am letting it slide.
I've noticed a couple of negative reviews, and I would like to advise you to ignore them entirely, as the only valid bad review is biased and its accurate criticisms are addressed further on in the story.
    P.S.
The powers are well thought out for sure.

If you are a fan of progression/adventure this story will not disappoint. I discovered the old version not long ago and truly enjoyed it, the edits are looking to only improve things.
This prologue is rare in how it does an excellent job of setting up the magic, while it also sets up the character in such a memorable way that stuck with me.
The pacing a done well and the supporting characters only get better as the story progresses and our MC gains his own agency.
Criminally under rated gem. Can't wait to get more content.

Beacon from Beyond is an interesting and well written take on one of my favorite tropes.
The affinity system is fascinating and underground world reminds me why I find cave fish so interesting.
I’ve read the previous version so I can safely stay the story doesn’t fall off in a hundred or so chapters.

First thing the characters actually have motivations even if they are doing bad things. With the author looking into mc motivations as well not just having just survive.
But I do think author should have gone more in depth into the father and siblings characters as they to a minor extent especially the siblings feel like set pieces.
The world building is really well thought out and doesn’t feel like it’s just being made up as the story progresses. With a unique take on the idea of a system that is more personal growth focus and how it’s more double sided with strength coming at a personal cost. On that note though the system notification can be a bit overwhelming at points.
What is done really well is foreshadowing where you can see what’s going to become relative in the future and leaves the reader with a steady anticipation.
For grammar I haven’t seen any major mistakes but I wouldn’t say I’m a qualified judge. While I would say the it’s interesting but could do with more description at some points like the village cavern. Where I don’t think it’s given the description it deserves.
Overall, I would say this story is massively under appreciated probably due to a lack of advertising. Which could probably be solved by author contacting other Royal Road to exchange shout outs. To further this I’d say that a more standout cover for the story would help. But I’ll definitely continue reading and wish the author success in continuing to write.
Last to address my completely 5 star review this is mainly due to how harsh Royal Road is so  I’m doing this based of potential over the current state which could still benefit from improvement after the first book is done.
    Good luck on the re-write!

First off, I'd like to preface that I appreciate every author and any author that writes. I believe it's a beautiful thing and I thank you for all your efforts. The style of writing does get a lot better over time and maybe the first 50 chapters could use a rewrite. It is definitely two completely different stories. Which is sort of a bait and switch honestly. Feels kind of rushed in certain places. Probably because of all the grand esoteric incorporations to the story. I want to say a lot of readers don't take well to the main character over theorizing. The way it's written doesn't leave much to the imagination. I would ask more authors of lit RPG to focus on character interaction and to build a story through not politics but social building. Right now a lot of the world building feels like the only thing that matters is the main character getting stronger. I want to emphasize on how great the author has waned off the "numbers GObURrr every chapter " It's honestly just filler for the most part and over time weakens the story so great job. Anyway, hope that made sense great work. Please continue. Thanks

Really good overall, but this is kinda two stories in one. Book 1 is a pretty typical advancement/litrpg story, quite a good one at that, but book two is completely different and breaks basically everything- it feels like books two to ten of the first genre in a single, extremely fast book.
To be clear, it’s not bad by any means, but be prepared for the change, because it’s pretty off putting.

I really want to give this 4.5, maybe even 5, but I know most of the reason I like it so much is because of my own obsessive desire to quantize reality, which is what the dude does. Over and over and over.
Dialogue is a trifle stilted at the beginning, but it smooths out well. I love the interaction and character growth of the companions; and three interactions between the "divine" beings is pretty great. I particularly enjoy the various magic systems, though it can get QUITE wordy at times. I love that the author has the main character recognize its wordiness at times, and start "mentally" skimming the entries. It definitely makes the super long skill review/ experimentation sections less of a slog and more of an interaction. "When's he gonna get bored and do something dumb? Op! There he goes!"
Really, REALLY fun read. I'm still debating going up to 4.5. Can't do 5 yet, but... the only real obstacle is the Gary Stu vibes. The occasional excessive detail would, I think, challenge many readers, and the power balancing seems to be an issue... but maybe that's just the way he's supposed to be, i'unno.

So much useless info.  I gave up on ch 15, maybe the story picks up later.  I feel like if you skip directly to ch. 16, you will not miss much.  Or perhaps read 1st 3 chapters then every 5th chapter afterwords until you get to some type of excitement.
