This story is normally not something I would have read. However, I gave it a chance, and was glad I did. The fast pace after chapter 9,
    After the jail break.
was like catnip. I couldn't put it down for too long (Even if I did play Half Life 2, Portal 1 and 2, and Left for Dead 2 between reading). It does have its flaws, but for a first work, very well done. I also left my thoughts chapter by chapter for the first half, so enjoy those if you want to see how I felt after each one.
Characters: probably the weakest point for me, with the amount of detail ranging quite wildly, some characters get a lot of description, allowing you to picture them in your head. Others, they get a sentence if they're lucky.  That's why it gets 3 stars. When they're important characters, you get a lot of description. When they're less important, you and the author know that.
Grammar: There are a few spelling mistakes that I saw and pointed out, however Frangit did a great job in quickly fixing them. So for that, 4.5 stars.
Style: I like it. The world is well made and feels interesting. Shame most of the start kept the MC in a cathedral and prison cell. 5 stars
Story: Oh boy. The story started off really slow, like Slice of Life slow. But chapter 9 and onward feels like a runaway train in comparison.  So for the first part, 3 stars. For chapters 10-27, 5 stars. Total score here, 4.5 stars.
