What it says on the tin, a nice twist on the regressor trope.
Well written fight scenes, good grammar, various tropes are woven in with obvious (not too loud though) winks and twisted for fun.
So far Author is writing what he wants to right, and that's important to avoid burnout and so the story keeps its vision.

I've seen so many horrible stories with a five star rating and then a decent story comes along and people knock it down to 4 stats? What the hell guys.
To those of you complaining about how the mc is weak in stats but op in experience, what did you expect from a regression story!? Ps, mc is still in the tutorial, so have some patience and numbers will go up, additionally, if you think he's too powerful, keep in mind
that one of the other children can obliterate him from the start, maybe less so at the chapter im on but she's likely still powerful enough to give him a run for his money WHILE LEVEL ONE
To those complaining about extra pov I'd like to whack you because from what I remember, the author released most if not all of those chapters on the same say as a normal chapter, also, it flashes out the cast and sets things up down the line for future events.
For those complaining about flowery prose I'd like to point out that the majority of books on this site, which you likely read and enjoy, are about as descriptive as a 4 year olds ramblings and lack so much imagination and creativity it's as if the events take place in a white void.
In conclusion, this book deserves better than 4 stars and if you were guilty of the complaints mentioned above then read a comic book you a*******.
To the author, keep going, you're doing good, could do with a proofread or two to catch some minor grammatical issues but otherwise you're doing splendidly.

I know I just started reading it. But I felt like I had to write this review. Seriously it's only 30 chapters in and it's already this good, It's just such a good read. I have high hopes and big expectations.
I love the characters, The main character in particular is such a mad lad, it's hard not to be entertained by his antics. I'm really looking forward to the rest of the cast's reactions. The plot is actually really rich I love the whole high stakes humanity will end if you don't do things right.
And honestly I think I only found one grammatical issue and even then it wasn't that bad. I mean if we're talking grammar issues look at this review in comparison. I genuinely enjoy this author's work and I'm really looking forward to anything that they write.
The cultivation and progression system is very in-depth. I have yet to feel disappointed with any of the main characters choices. And I think it'll take up to at least around 2,000 chapters before the story actually gets muddled. If it even goes on for that long.
I might have to rewrite this review later but I sincerely hope the author continues to do as well as they have.

I absolutely love this series.  The situation the main character is in leads to delightful humour but unlike series that actively try to be funny this series manages to be funny without forcing things. The main character takes their situation absolutely seriously and acts in their own best interests constantly but the predicaments themselves are humorous and entertaining.  To me this is the best sort of humour because when MCs actively try to be funny and silly it breaks immersion for me.
As much as the whole apocalypse situation is inherently unreal I feel the author adds a lot of realism and makes the MC believable by combining the adult mind with the child body.  He provides a decent safety valve where the MC can progress at faster than normal human development (for example boosting his strength stat he is able to support his head and start crawling).  But the MC is clearly left with permanent disadvantages for the foreseeable future (he’s not likely to have a full size adult body until over ten years from now and the apocalypse timeline the MC lived through wasn’t that long).
The author has an extremely fun and interesting theme and executes it extremely well. The prose is enjoyable to read and the MCs frustrations jump off the page and seemingly come to life.  In short if this concept even vaguely appeals to you it is done so well that you will enjoy it.

I'm not really sure what I expected going into this, but it both is and isn't exactly what I expected.
This isn't a weak to strong story, however. Weak means that one has to struggle to overcome challenges that one is not necessarily prepared for. That's not what this is. The MC has bad stats but he's over-prepared for everything and not only doesn't struggle, but easily overcomes all obstacles. Not that this is necessarily a bad thing if it's not something you care about.
I think the first chapter was a little hard to get through but otherwise the writing is good and the story is fun.

This is a great twist on humanity is integrated with the wider universe as part ofa show/take over. They lose and one of the top goes back in time.
The twist is he goes back in the body of a 1 month old... Shenanigans pursue and you've got 2 other people you find about. 1 another trial taker and 1 is part of the Media company.

We all know that Royal Road usually grades on a curve. This story is a genuine 5 start entry. The writing is polished and engaging and the world building is interesting. Also, the writer has demonstrated that they can actually handle dialog, combat, and progression.
Do yourself a favor and give it a shot.

You can definitely tell that the story is more fleshed out than most on this site. But it's not perfect either.
Personally, these are my three biggest gripes from up to where I've read:
    1. The MC is not weak. Yes, the MC has bad stats, but it's been established that he could basically delete humanity rn on skill. And since his stats (and skills) are going to grow exponentially from here, how is that weak?
    2. Questionable pacing. I feel like Robin's POV doesn't really add anything to the story so far, it's just kind of filler.
And, many events that we already know the outcome of, span multiple chapters e.g. the 10 chapter long battle we knew the MC would win. That also didn't really have any tension because the MC basically 'did some mining off-screen', before the battle for his equipment.
    3. Flowery prose. I like descriptive prose, but I feel like sometimes it's taken too far, here's an excerpt:
Mistakes had definitely been made. Although, on the other hand, lessons had most certainly been learned. Didn’t that effectively mean he’d broken even? Well, he’d definitely broken something, that was for sure. Apparently “impenetrable bubble that resists all forms of damage” didn’t just extend to the exterior of the protective shell. It was just as true for the inside as it was the outside. Not exactly what he’d call a soft landing, in other words. Unyielding and bone-rattling? Sure. Soft as goose down bedding? Not even close.
That's a bit long for saying "mistakes had been made, he probably broke something just then" right? Not just me? And when you combine this with the additional POV's, and multi-chapter long events, yeah.
But ultimately, this might just be me. A lot of people seem to enjoy it, so, maybe I'm just not the audience.

    It's okay.
I find myself skipping a lot of what's written, and the writing takes too long to ge to the point.
The story isn't really going anywhere. 300 pages in and it's been 1 day in the novel and the plot barely exists.
You could probably cut 70% of the writing and not lose anything crucial.
The fights are largely meaningless and some of them are way too drawn out. By the time I'm satisfied and done with the fight it somehow drags on for another few pages, and the case of the tower defense, chapters.
If you enjoy the humour maybe it's worth it to keep reading, but if not then I don't really see the point.

Really enjoying this story. It is truly unique.
It is rare to find stories where the mc returns as a true baby. it has lots of super funny moments and overall the characters. progression and pace all seem to be going in a good direction.
Update ( original part reviewed the early story and remains the same but as of chap 63 I my overall opinion has changed ) -
Dropped my rating from a 5 to a 3 star overall I just feel like we are having too much pov changes and its seriously detracting from the story. My main appeal was the crazy, funny baby mc but he seems to be pushed to the sidelines more, and more recently.
    Edit 2 -
Updated at chapter 73. Overall I feel the plot derailed a bit and I became lost incapable of following along with whats happening. I kind of pieced it together again but for multiple chapters I could not figure out what was happening. So from 3 to 1.5 stars. I am near the point of dropping this. It is becoming very repetitive and a fight has dragged on for what feels like 20 chapters
