The world is unique(in a sense), the MC isn't whiny. I can't ask for more.
I am very much interested in knowing more about the world and power system.
A little excess of telling instead of showing, but it doesn't affect the reading.
    Over all, a solid start.
    ignore the spoiler:

I love the idea but the flow of the story and dialogue throw me off too much.
To be more specific, the author shows and tells, instead of one or the other (At least in the early chapters that I read). This causes the conversations and story to feel like it's constantly repeating itself instead of moving forwards.
Also, I don't know what's causing this for me, but the text always felt like it was jumping all over the place and wasn't rooted in the story. Like, I don't need you to tell me that he's in an unhappy relationship, you already showed me that his partner ignores him and seems disconnected. You also don't need to tell me that he thinks his boss is awful, you already had her do something that is awful and could have left it at "his dead eyes follow her as she leaves before flicking back to his monitor to finish the shift." All in all, I like the idea but can't read it right now.

For a story on this site, the style is sufficient and inoffensive. The flow of the story from story beat to story beat is fine but the story beats themselves are weak, driven by cliche characters to cliche events. Too much telling, not showing. An a character that is remarkable naive and too much of a bleeding heart to be an adult who held a job.
Note that from this point onwards there will be spoilers and, because I have to submit at least 200 words for an advanced review, you get a rant.
The main character, Nova is a salary man working an unknown office job, who shakes off the shackles of his exploitative workplace and oppressive girlfriend only to be transmigrated into the body of a young man in a different word.
Immediately, he runs into his future love interest, then, learning nothing, gets dragged into an exploitative business where he gets harassed by a new, hateable boss who is a child, a murderer, and evil because the world is "dog eat dog". Very subtle.
In his captivity, he meets a kindly old man who is immediately kind and bemoans the fact that he wasted his life who then, unsurprisingly, immediately dies because evil guy is very evil. The good main character goes into a fit of rage. But wait, he's rescued by some guy who was impressed by his goodness and they free all the exploited workers.
Being a good person, a type of human that has to be dumb, the main character gives all of his money to children who can't protect it then leaves to explore the world. Running into his love interest on his way down is just a coindence, she just suddenly wants to risk her life, taking a shady, illegal ship to the ground with a handful of flash grenades.
Finally, they leave the generically distopian city for a mutated landscape under the floating city. They take a step and are immediately besieged by moblings (goblins). After fleeing, assuming they were safe, and stepping out, the duo are immediately ambushed by the alpha moblings, who proceeds to wip
