A lonely path, so endless, so wide,

Madness reigns on every side.

A mist that shrouds all faith and light,

Its claws now stretch through the endless night.

The dark whisper of a god, a fading lie.

The horror draws near, the shadows grow tall,

And silence spreads where none dare to call.

Oblivion calls, it takes its hold,

The mist dissolves, and all grows cold.

Follow a path born of hate and revenge,but what remains when vengeance ends? A hollow void, no peace to claim, yet Azrael escapes this fate through a mystery's flame. Could it be their deaths hide another goal?

Unveil the truth and seek the soul.

Here are a few notes about my story:

First, English is not my native language, so I have to rely on translators.

Second, what you can expect from my story:

The most important thing is probably the slow start. The first volume focuses on the development of my characters—why they act the way they do later and what their motivations are. There will be much more fighting in the later parts.

Additionally, the MC is more of a loner. The reasons for this will become clear in the first volume.

Third, what you shouldn’t expect:

An overpowered MC. The MC is definitely strong, but not invincible.

Also, don’t expect the MC to do everything on their own. There are other characters who are very important as well.

Books that have particularly inspired me: Lord of the Mysteries, Shadow Slave.

I have finished reading this Book. Here is my opinion:
It starts off very slowly, which can lead to boredom at times. However, it improves as the story progresses.
The charakters are well written, and it's easy to empathize with them. At times, it's really brutal.
I really liked the ending, it did justice to the dark fantasie genre.
Overall, it is well written.

At first, I thought, well, it’s not badly written, the story is quite interesting, but somehow a bit boring. Now I think it’s better than I initially thought.
At the beginning, I was a little disappointed—there were hardly any battles and very little bloodshed. In my opinion, those are the key elements for dark fantasy.
However, it got significantly better toward the end. Azrael’s development is also interesting. I’m very curious to see how he will continue to evolve. The next volume already hints at some possibilities.
So far, everything feels truly dark and hopeless. I’d even go so far as to say that a calmer phase would make sense. By that, I don’t mean no battles, but rather... more joy of life or something like that. All the characters seem so gloomy. That’s why I find Aria a refreshing change, even though she doesn’t exactly have a cheerful personality.
All in all, this story has potential, especially because of its plot.

It was a whole rollercoaster of emotions. At first it started of pretty tame and relaxed, but became quite gruesome and dark rather quickly. I like when works of fictions turn out to be way different than what they originally promise to be.
And I know the tags imply a dark story, but the execution of the change was unexpected. It may take a while for the story to hook a reader, but it’s definitely worth the wait.
And I’m intrigued to know what will happen next.
