Description

Icarus had become the Sovereign God after destroying Olympus and stealing the powers of the gods. After becoming human again and dying, he is sent by the deity of death, Charon, to a new world.

Reincarnated as Nathan Evenhart, he decides to live as a simple human but discovers that this world has real magic. Caught in a noble dispute because of his family's name, he is once again drawn into a conflict he didn't want. Now, having learned to love someone, he decides to start from scratch and master magic.

Ocular powers, Magical Beasts, Elemental Powers, Enchanted Relics, Elves... this is the world he now lives in. There's only one small problem with his reincarnation... he is haunted by his arch-nemesis, the Goddess Athena.

Experience the journey of the young General as he enjoys his new life in a world of magic.

What to expect:

-  An MC who was once an Olympian God in another life, now starting from scratch to master magic.

- Legendary creatures that will appear in the story as companions (You and the protagonist will witness their evolution together).

- A storyline of impending war being orchestrated, where YOU will follow both sides and learn information unknown to the protagonist.

- Secrets and mysteries involving Athena's Ghost (TRUST ME, you'll want to uncover why she's haunting the MC).

- Follow the protagonist's journey until the moment when War arrives for our young General.

This is a great story so far. I would not be surprised if it gets an actual publishing beyond R/R. The main character is intriguing and the supporting staff only add to his depth. I have not noticed any major issues with grammar. The only thing that I have that is negative is that I am burning through this story and fear catching up to the published chapters.

Honestly, the book is good. I really like it, and its easy for you to binge. However, if I was completely unbiased, this would be a 3.5 star, since it just hasn't reached the level of 5 star books, like Lord of the Mysteries, Shadow Slave, etc. If you're looking for a good book to get lost in, and don't care too much for the specifics, this is a good read.

I am going to admit, I am easily pleased. I still know a good story when I see one and this one is just (insert chef's kiss).
The world-building, character development, and style of the story are all just perfect and seamlessly work together with one another. Also, the time skips are so incredibly natural unlike most of the other stories I have ever read!
Thank you so very much for such an incredible story and keep up the great work! (And yes, I would recommend this story to anyone with even a slight interest in fantasy. Also, dragon waifu!!!!!!!!)

I’ll make an in-depth analysis as a reader who is rereading the story and is currently caught up with the latest chapters.
Just to be clear, I've never written a review before, so I'm an amateur. I've always read on these sites as a silent reader, but I had to create an account to talk about this because it has ABSURD POTENTIAL.
Story: Let’s start from the premise that you know what an isekai is, so I’ll skip that part. The story itself is REALLY GOOD, and I tell you that you absolutely must read until the end of BOOK 2.
"Alex, but why do I have to read until book 2?"
    BECAUSE THE AUTHOR IS CRAZY.
Yes, the bastard built a HUGE PLOT that was right in front of us the whole time and is revealed in the final arc of book 2. My mind EXPLODED when I found out. So I’ll be simple and direct: READ UNTIL THE END OF BOOK 2 because it’s worth it.
The world the protagonist is in is alive and gradually you are exposed to the functioning of that magical society and its problems. Each part of the plot gets better as you progress, especially when you uncover the protagonist's family secret. Book 1 is short, and from book 2 onward, magic is introduced and the battles begin (the protagonist is an excellent warrior).
Every time something new appears, it feels like the book forces you to keep reading because it just keeps getting better. The plot keeps growing and becoming more exciting at certain moments. At some point, you'll want to KILL THE AUTHOR, especially in a part of book 2, because he ends the chapters with cliffhangers. It was tough for me as I followed the releases.
Magic and Battles: I’m a reader who loves battles, so I can speak confidently. At a certain point, we see the protagonist fighting other mages, and it’s really good. The choreography, the elemental diversity, the creativity. In book 3, it expands dramatically, and the author is wickedly creative (the arc with the two assassins is excellent).
    "Alex, is it worth reading?"
YES, books 1 and 2 are the PROLOGUE. You need

The story is amazing with diverse characters and a bit of norse and greek mythology,  with a thriller like never before , it encompasses various genres from action to romance, and even thrill and comedy. All and all the story is must read , i assure you! Well just as a reminder for the author like a positive criticism,  please appload more frequently especially when it involves wars and fights , because it can get boring if you have to read chapters about those every other day, so please aside that thanks for this masterpiece!!!😁

Wtf I already written the review and published but only now just realized it's bugged anyway the review I wrote still saved
Hidden gem that needs polish in 1 area (Battle)
    ...
Style; I like the style of writing personally in all but battle scene... There's a problem that can be easily overcomes for example; with information like giving the mana percentage of their pool... Because the wordings of every battle is.. As if the mana is infinite for example:
at the start of battle author side the body already started to take it's toll but can still continues for long... Then there is another wording problems like 'he lost all will to resist but later on still resist'
    ...
Story; the story sacrifices grabbing attention in the first book for greater potential and freedom down the line, the first 2 books just a prologue for a potentially fantastical story, for those who like god of war this can be considered the best read close to fan fiction
    ...
Characters; the mc is great a mix of Kratos and Loki, he is intentionally dense and perceived as such...because of trauma
The side characters are totally 3D even 4D for some ;) hint (boil water advice)
    ...
Grammars; minor mistakes in some area, not great in battle scenes, as I pointed above^^^
    ...
Overall great book with potential if not for battle scene, you should give it a chance and finish the prologue (2 books)

Listen, I really tried to continue with this story, it has some real potential and would normally be right up my alley. There are just same major flaws the prevent me from being able to enjoy it.
The magic system so far doesn’t really make any sense, I’m not far enough into the story to really judge the magic system, but so far it seems about what you’d expect to find in a story from a child, basic concepts, but no real depth or logic.
But the real reason I can’t read any more is that the dialogue is just not great. Between the awkward narrative style, the incredibly repetitious information in the dialogue, and the generally awkward and cringey conversations, I just couldn’t take it anymore. It’s weird, because the writing isn’t bad, like the authors writing skills are just way better than their narrative skills.
If you can make it to chapter 50 and are still enjoying it, I think you’ll enjoy the rest of the story. The author has potential, but definitely needs to work on narrative coherence and dialogue.

I'm not sure what to make of book 3. I guess i got too hyped after reading book 1 and 2. Then i got to book 3 and things just feels forced on the latter half, with the first half filled with mostly exposition. With the character interraction still being the stronger suit. The fight scenes are really good, but sometimes they're questionable.
Sometimes MC is just a complete god, sometimes he struggle with 2 assassins for 8 chapter, on a planned ambush no less, and after 2 prior scenes showing how OP the MC is at this point. After that there's 3 chapters called wrath of MC, you're expecting a complete steamroll with that kind of title, then he struggles again, followed by another wrath chapter, but this time its for real. Like, can he? or can he not do these things?
He kinds of hate athena sometimes and then just kind of cordial at other times? I was expecting him to tear her to shreds after he finally figured out how that he could, but then he's back to being cordial? He still let her keep whispering crap on him, despite knowing how adept she is at manipulation, i can't call that anything but cordial, which, considering what happened, he shouldn't have been.
There's Katherine just completely freaking out at the things involving nate sometimes like the scene with the elf royalty. The same scene that felt forcibly extended for several chapter, on top of the classroom exposition supplementing it later on.
Some of the drama is banking completely on your missing context, like sisika. The start of that section is very rough, it could have been better if we have a real gauge of sisika's strength early on. Some bandit getting butchered isn't good enough. I feel like the author is afraid of revealing too much and ruining the reveal, but revealing what she is capable of wouldn't have lessened the impact of her reveal, imo. Like, if we know that mc would have 0 chance if they fight, prior to the encounter. Instead, prior to the encounter, we have several chapter that explains an

it was a nice story up until the whole siskia bs and sudden eye full awakening and gaining all elemental affinity or whatever.i liked how it was before.now it’s disappointing and cliche and boring.you should’ve kept it how it was before siska intervened with capturing him and jumping off the cliff bs.ruined the story imo

I want to like this story however at this point it's almost grimdark. I like the overall world that's been built. I like the characters. I don't like how everything is mysterious and no one knows anything.
I personally don't like the fights. Most of them are just the good guys getting beat to a pulp then winning because of some reason. If you find that this is not accurate, then why are those the only ones I remember.
I hate how even though he is supposed to be op it doesn't matter. The bad guys are so much more powerful and everywhere there seem to be no hope. It's not fun. It's not cool. It's almost grimdark. I didn't want to read grimdark.
I like the idea of this story. But it's becoming hard to even care. The way it's going doesn't feel like there is anyway for the mc to win. I get characters have to struggle but if you've read to where I have you'll know what I mean. If you are up against an opponent that can easily over power you and is seemingly omnipotent what is the point. I'll probably come back and read this story later so I can skim through everything, just to know what happens, because like I said before I want to like this story.
