- Meson FoxRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0This is one of the stories I'll be reading all the way through. The most important aspect of a story to me is whether I remember the story exists after each chapter or not. Too many stories are so boring I can't remember anything happening in it after reading.
I could give a description of what happens in this story up to the most recent chapter because it's interesting. I won't because spoilers. But it's worth a read. - Arcanaabscondita#12Royal Road★★★★ 4.0For those of you who enjoyed "everybody loves large chests" this is the scifi-fantasy story for you.
Imagine a universe where mana exists, large concentrations forming small dungeon cores inside moons, planets, asteroids and other various large space rocks. Now imagine humans elves, fairies, troglodytes, dwarves, and every other race imaginable (I am still waiting on those mind flayers) took to the stars, either breaking away from the dungeons they first spawned in or settling the Galaxy after leaving their home system. They make use of dungeons to power their advanced tech and harvest their drops for materials that are difficult to find in nature.
This is where we come in, starting by seeing the more backwater region of space, where our boxxy like being spawns, and I won't tell you a drop more about how it starts, beyond that the succubus would be proud.
Onto the aspects of the story. There hasn't Beeeeen a lot of story yet to go off character wise, however I do like the dynamics, their are quarrels, infights, secrets and treachery. Despite being relatively new to space the main character adapts quickly using the information at hand and isn't just an idiot for idiot's sake, and is developing over time forming a personality, preferences she doesn't understand and figuring out ways to use her skills.
For the world and story itself, I like that there is a system without a system. Sure it sounds like people are able to learn abilities and skills and magic and all sorts of things, the dungeon runs on rukes, but there isn't a hardcoded voice and stats, its all effort, and I love what story and world building there has been so far, though I can't give it five without seeing more
There shouldn't be any noticible grammar mistakes, I may have picked up a few but quickly forgot about them because I was too focussed on the story.
As for style...the style seems to be good, I don't have any specific comments, its not Wow but it is going to get you engaged
Edit: so. I ranked ever
