I’m not a great reviewer but I’ll try. This story is held together with tape and prayers. The system is very undefined and doesn't seem consistent or well explained. The beginning 50 or so chapters are very bad at giving characters anything more than just basic development. It gets better in later chapters though. The story in my opinion would be better off an anthology instead of whatever mish mash this is. The flow of the story is often interrupted for seemingly no reason and things are either over explained or not explained at all. Again like most things in this story it gets a lot better later on. Like it said in the title it’s not a perfect story and the beginning is pretty bad but it improves in quality a lot. - tsharkRoyal Road★★★★ 3.5I hate you for luring me in then giving an abrupt fever dream ending. I loved this though and from the first chapter, it’s pretty clear that this was meant to be a trashy-genre mocking esque series and lives up to it.
I am giving this 3.5 stars for pure entertainment value. There is no depth to the plot and that is absolutely alright because I can tell it’s meant to be a bit of a nonsensical comedy. I just wish we were able to flesh out more characters! Asher and to a smaller extent, Faye, are the only characters we really get to know. - MrGrassRoyal Road★★★ 3.0So, I didn't know what to expect, but... that wasn't it. It is without a doubt the worst think I have read, but also strangely addictive. I didn't enjoy reading this, but I couldn't put it down. I would have rated this a 1 star for the style, story, and characters individually. But, somehow it is better than the sum of its parts.
The author starts off with throwing every annoying anime/Manga trope at you all at once, then continues to do so for every single chapter. I had to put this down, or I would go insane. I usually end with something positive, but I am at a loss on how to improve this story.
