A young boy is plucked from his everyday life and tossed into war and turmoil, only to find himself alone once everything ended. Without a home to shelter himself, without a family to come back to, and without a purpose, how will the boy survive in a world where the strong trample over the weak. Will starvation and madness find him first as he wanders the remains of his war torn homeland or there is someone or something out there that can stop him from losing his last bit of sanity? My 2nd story, the first being Dragon's Soul. This story is also hosted on NovelsNao and will be updated there more regularly then here.

- dwoolfyRoyal Road★★★★ 4.0This is not bad as a FF xania inspired novel. It has all the various elements that are common among them. Starting off with an overly week and broken MC who also has the normal OVER-ABUNDANCE of luck to an absurd degree. This is strongly emphasized by his original attempt at gathering herbs for contribution points. Other various encounters further point this out.
One thing that is even more absurd than his luck is his mental state. Prior to being dropped off in the sect he has basically almost died after seeing his family, friends, and nation all destroyed in a war, being the last survivor. Afterwords he seems just fine as a normal 15 year old student in a minor sect learning about cultivation. Probably the best thing that the author could do would be to add a seal that his rescuing benefactor performed to shelter him from the pain that these events would have caused. This sort of seal could be easily written into the first chapter.
As we do not really know much about his background, it does seem that he is being protected by something very powerful. The mentioning of how one of his ancestors visited and stole a daughter of the yami to be his wife, might actually be the foreshadowing indicator of what is behind his protection.
