Description
Since the late 19th Century, humanity has been pushing itself at a breakneck pace towards a single convergence of technology and development. Estimated to occur in the mid 2020's, this pivotal moment is commonly referred to as the Singularity. After five years of research, college student Adrian Pierce manages to crack the code first and create the world's first robust artificial intelligence in the year 2016. Disgusted by society as it is, especially governing bodies, he decides to use his unique position to alter the tenuous balance that greed and corruption had given birth to. With his extraordinary mind, Adrian plots and plans, designing new technologies with his assistant A.I., becoming secretly embroiled in the world of politics, subterfuge, and research. As his influence increases, governments and the general populace alike scramble to discover just who the man behind Archon Industries really is.

- sclaudiuRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0It's simply put beautiful. One of the best stories i've ever read on this site.I would love to see it go official some time later if the author wishes,he definitely has the potential .
Now for some constructive criticism: there isn't much so say here expect sometimes it feels like your timeskipping too much, limiting your character growth and fluent storytelling for the sake of action scenes or something that plays a major role in the story(like the base or the 'sex trade co.').If you wish to timeskip for the sake of it,don't just say '3 months later' because it says 'hey i have nothing more interesting to say and look there a action scene its gonna happen' .And don't think that you will bore your reader with prep plans and character interactions. This is my only advice for you author...no more timeskipping (since english isn't my primary language i can't go into more fluent explanations,if it was my native language i would've bored you to death with my ramblings).Cheers mate - LoneWanderer23Royal Road★★★★★ 5.0My cup of tea, indeed.
The story is great, but the vigilanteism needs to be relegated to a sidestory or something.
Also bringing the young genius guy who was taken by the NSA into their company as a “intern” while he is spying for the gov would then having a change of heart would be thrilling
anyways just wanted to say the story is awesome and looking forward to the next chapters ? - NitcheRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Expecting quicker chapter updates in the future, with fleshed up characters and a lot more hardship for them to face in the future. Thanks, I'm rooting for you. Also, pls try in your 're-editing' to explain why Raide always has his humour setting turned up to 97%. He seems so happy for no good reason. Reference- "Interstellar" movie. Science with TARS humour setting.
- RodriguezRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Godly and please don't stop writing please please please!!!!!!!!!!!
- GeraldroldRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Why is this an unfinished work aaaaaaaaaaaaaa i need my fix
- TechnomageIMRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Finally an MC That does not whine about how bad the world is, but actually does something about. However dark that path may seem to our modern morals.
- TheroxcisRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0I love this. Fell in love by everything in this fic. It is a sin that this has not been updated man. So frickin mad there's no update for over 5 years... I hope the author continues this... Someday.
Fairly realistic, Tackles sensitive issues and characterization, Techno-babble that's believable, and an MC that's relatable and respectable compared to 80% of most novels I've read. - VoltageRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0A book on the possibilities of one man receiving the advantage of an infinite artificial intelligence before everyone else.
Style -5/5
Story- Unique and creative. Deserves more attention and I hope the others leaves hiatus soon.
Grammar- 5/5 Top 1% on RR.
Characters- 5/5 All with real thoughts and feeling. All dynamic over static, entertaining and real. - reinydayRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0this is one story that deserves an advanced review. amazingly style of writing with great story plot and characters. I really like how the characters are well defined with their mentality and thought process being realistic. Ignoring the minor grammatical errors, this is an almost perfect story in my opinion well worth reading it more than once. Bearcat sensei, thank you for your efforts for bringing this wonderful work to us. :)
- SashimiRoyal Road★★★ 2.5Because really, that's about the only thing that might still challenge the protagonist. For a while. Nothing on earth still poses any believable threat. If you're into OPness and wish fulfillment, that's fine, but it'll never make for a story full of tension and suspense.
I love the idea with the first AI in the world and using it for good. It's not a particularly new idea, it's been done before (including transhumanism, loads of wish fulfillment and, yes, alien invasions followed up by invading aliens), but it's still good to pull in an audience. Only it went downhill from there with the lack of actual opposition.
Not much to be said about grammar or style. Good, but nothing stellar.
Characters are a weakness here. Bearcat is far from as intelligent as you make him out to be, and the ton of ego stroking only hurts him in my eyes. The others remain one-dimensional or artificial.
