Description
The stronger his opponent, the harder Nil hits.
Saving an innocent from a drug-crazed superhuman should've left him broken. It wins Nil the Nexus' attention, instead. Now he has the opportunity to make a difference. Nil is done feeling small and watching his family scrape by.
Apocalypse Arena holds the key; where the multiverse's champions battle and keep the Scourge at bay. Pain, death, and heartbreak await all who run the gauntlets, but Nil has what it takes tograpplehis way to the top.
The multiverse is watching, and he'll be damned sure to give them a show. Perhaps even knock out a god.
What to expect:
- A story inspired by Solo Levelling, Super Supportive, and Iron Prince.- A system that fuses LitRPG, super powers, and cultivation- Regular trips to alien realms and dimensions on quests that involve dealing with threats or solving problems.- Gladitorial fights, battle royales, capture the flag, and other combat games with death always being a possibility.- Nil won't always win. In fact, there will be instances where he comes dangerously close to death. This is a weak to strong story and Nil needs to sharpen his skills instead of just making numbers go up.- Combat, mystery, espionage, fantastical adventures.- Currently releasing two chapters a day until we hit chapter 50. Will adopt a 4-5 chapters a week schedule afterward.

- silverfishsenpaiRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0You know, with something with such an over the top title, i wouldn't expect the content in this novel to be so down to earth and subtle.
The powers are something really interesting and pugilist stories with an actual martial and combat focus are something of a rare commodity here on royal road. Plus, the combat scenes are really well written and in depth, with every movement accounted for, serious contemplation of the consequences and benefits of every offensive and a purpose for every sentence.
More importantly, the human to human interaction. Seriously, i love the conversations in this book, a single chat between sunil(Nil) and Andrews was not only really fun to read with actual human, tarantino-esque(obv nowhere near that level but in such a style), banter and communication, it actually feels like a joking conversation someone might have.
One more thing, it's nice to have the physical geography of the location actually developed instead of the protagonist being in generic Americaland in generic state and generic city. Not saying this perjoratively to America, but because the author takes time to develop the location where the character live, fight and operate, even in America, like the unique aspects of something like brooklyn or harlem, like here with hackney being where the crackhead superpowered rampage or piccadily circus all being developed.
Also, it's really nice to see an Indian led RR novel, not for some nonsense diversity reasons but because the author actually takes the time to show the cultural differences and eccentricities in the midst of conversation instead of just slapping a name and moving on and it's very fresh.
So basically, don't go on hiatus man, you're updating at a really nice daily pace and while i love more content, if something slower would help you keep writing, you can do that, but don't abandon the story, you have something nice here.
TLDR, i hate slow burns, but this without being one has great characters, powers, actually develops p - CyberpoodleRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0I have read until chapter 36 and so far I really like the story and most of the characters.
The main character Nil is a little older then your typical hero and starts his dreamlife as summoned shortly before his thirties. Even if he is not without fighting skills, his age and his unusually distributed attributes make him not the ideal candidate. But he gets a lots of unsanctioned help from Leyla, his caseworker and the schema gives him a lot of interesting abilities. She helps him to find his way through quests, ascending skills and attributes and making his way to Apocalypse Arena, a big spectacle where money and fame finds the worthy.
But there are also hints at a cosmic danger that threatens this system with curse energy. All isn't well in this universe and I hope whatever awaits is as mysterious as i hope.
There is some character development, a lot of interesting skills and choices thereof, and several secrets and mysteries and a whole slew of other worlds that need to be seen and quests to be done on.
I'm always happy to see another chapter and hope Nil finds his way to the top. - DWWRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0I'm enjoying this one, it's well earned it's place on rising stars.
Good world building, good characterisation - you understand people's motivation. It's actually quite nice to have a slightly older MC, who's been ground down by the weight of shit jobs and life in general. He carries a nice weight of cynicism and worldly experience.
If I have 1 complaint it's the geography of London feels abit weird. 🤷♂️
I recommend this one, I hope the author keeps it up. - Lazy king 123Royal Road★★★★★ 5.0This well written story so far 5* (I can’t think of any reasons to deduct any points)
the release rate is incredible
mc is reasonably smart (without it being forced down our throats every sec)
His power has potential but isn’t immidietly broken
there are well written losses which means the fighting scenes have actual suspense (incredibly rare in my opinion)
All side characters so far have been well written
Not to go into spoilers but I like the whole nexus system and how it is set up - part we know but not everything so we are left sometimes guessing.
to sum up surprising addition to the LITPRG genre which definitely pulls its own weight, so go ahead and give it a shot. - ObiwanKentuckyRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0I enjoy reading this so far. Over 20 chapters in, and it's following a logical and reasonable progression as it unfolds this multiverse and the mechanisms that govern it.
Interesting, has good action, and not dry.
Main character has flaws, but also growth and development. Understands his limits like a reasonable person, but also pushes to exceed them, like many reasonable and relatable people. - StygalRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0I've been reading this story on the Author's patreon since its initial release. I love the multi-verse aspect of the story, being able to see unique worlds and summoned from them. Every scene has the right amount of detail to keep me engaged with the story and hungry for more.
I'm excites to follow Nil's progression of his abilities, how he reacts to the ever changing flow that is the Nexus, and the Nexus reacting to Nil's growth.
If you are a fan of a character growing in both strength and personality, I highly recommend this story! - FestusRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0I cant seem to put down this story. I am only making this review because i was forced to stop reading and thought i'd review it before i started binging again. I read the story somewhere else at first, but rr just has a nicer reading experience. Il say it again. Its a amazing story and the characters all feel very human and realistic.
- J P KoenigRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Once again, J Pal is back with a new story that knocked my socks off. I meant to start the story and read for a little at lunch, and wound up spending the entire afternoon reading instead. The story is unique and engaging. The worldbuilding is complex and well thought out, and makes for a great blend of pseudo-superhero / litrpg / tournament gladiator stories.
The main character is smart and experienced, and it shows. Nil is a 'brute' but doesn't use that as an excuse to not think. Further, his backstory is fleshed out and relatable, and he doesn't exist in a vacuum like so many lesser fictions do to their main characters. He has friends, families, and even a romantic interest. All of it feels grounded and interesting, even when he's routinely summoned to other worlds to finish heroic quests. On top of that, the other characters are also multi-dimensional and add to the overall flavor of the story. From the chaotic-neutral best friend to the goody-two-shoes girlfriend, everyone in Nil's life feels like they belong there.
As for the story, it feels a bit 'slice-of-life' with a heavy dollop of progression fantasy and adventuring. There's lots of action to keep things moving, along with goals that feel realistic in a world where things keep getting worse. All in all, I can't recommend this story highly enough! - JDCRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0I'm really enjoying this story! The characters are interesting and very distinct. I don't find myself trying to remember who's who. The world-building shows unlimited potential to keep changing. Every mission is quite literally a new world. I feel confident that this is a story that I will stay with until the very end.
- JamessikkinsRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Interesting world that combines Sci fi and fantasy elements. I always like the system in super supportive, if you liked that as well then this book is for you. I also quite like the arena aspect but it hasn't really gone into that much detail so I'll update when it becomes more relevant.
