This is a really good solid story that stays good all throught.
It might seem like nothing, but this is one of the really few stories that not only manages to remain good all throught, but also one of the few where the world building it's interesting.
Forget about this being a generic cultivation world. There is so much weird stuff, one could write several novels just with it. If you talk with the author it can tell you several pages more of interesting lore it couldn't fit into the current story.
The characters all have personalities and flaws. This includes the protagonist. He doesn't have an holy glow surronding him, sometimes he succed, sometimes he fails. He feels like....like an actual person with ups and downs, internal conflicts and idiosyncrasies (and he has lots of them!).
Bonus points to the author for not falling into the classical, repetitive tropes of the genre and keeping the story fresh. You can't tell where things will go or what will happen (in a good sense!).
A really, really solid read worth your time.

I saw this story recommended from WIAFTTTA, which is one of my favourites on this site and decided to check it out.
So far, this story seems entertaining and grounded. The author has a good sense of character and pacing. The world building is good and it doesnt take itself too seriously. It's also a bit funny! Looking forward to seeing where this story goes as I love a good Xianxia.
