This is an interesting space opera. The story follows an expedition led by Jahdra. Both the past of the ship and her destination are shrouded in mystery, and as the story unfolds, more details begin to emerge through interactions with strangers she picks up over the course of the travel. Fans of Star Trek and similar series will immediately find themselves at home. The humanoid robot gradually evolving to develop more human-like characters was reminiscent of Data.
The writing style is pleasant and easy to follow, and the protagonist is likable. I found only very minor issues in places, but overall the style of presentation is really nice. I didn't see any grammatical issues or typos. The author is not very heavy on details, and quite a bit is left to the reader's imagination.
The story is not particularly dark, there is very little violence - most of it muted, and so should appeal to a wide range of users. There is a hint of romance woven in that adds a nice touch to the story. The names of the ships are interesting too.
The pacing, I felt, was a bit on the slower side. Twenty-one chapters in, the story seems to be warming up - looking forward to the future chapters.

Antinomy is the story of a girl and her ship. Jahdra isn't supposed to be flying the Chrysanthemum on her own. She doesn't want anyone to know. Her precarious position is made even more complicated when she responds to a distress call and ends up rescuing a group of oddballs with dangerous secrets of their own.
STYLE: The prose is clear and functional. Physical descriptions are kept to a minimum, but I believe that is more a stylistic choice than a shortcoming. The MC's thoughts and emotions paint a vivid picture as the story moves along, and the action is easy to follow.
STORY: The story beats are bog standard, but executed well. The worldbuilding unfolds slowly, and the author takes care not to give away too much information too soon. Each chapter presents as many questions as it answers, keeping an air of mystery about the whole affair.
CHARACTERS: The MC is vibrant and likeable. The ship has just enough personality to make me wonder if it's sapient or not. The side characters are less well fleshed out, but I suspect I'll learn more about them later. I'm only 11 chapters in.
GRAMMAR: I didn't see any mistakes. Full marks.
OVERALL: It's a slower burn than I expected, but well worth your time. The author's information management and willingness to take their time with the story are impressive, and show a level of foresight and technique I wouldn't dare attempt to emulate. The plot isn't breaking any new ground, but there's a lot to be said for a simple premise done well, and this is done very well indeed.

I LOVE IT! I LOVE IT! I LOVE IT!
It's one of those stories that has the magic factor of making you forget that you're reading a story at all. Worldbuilding is spot on and reminds me of the more modern space operas you might pick up. The sort I like to depict as "blue science fiction", where artificial intelligence coexists uneasily with organic life, and the line between ally and adversary is as thin as the vacuum outside the hull.
Continue to feed my sci-fi addiction, author!

I haven't read very many sci-fi stories, but this one has kept me wanting to know what happens next! The story follows Jahdra, the captain of the spaceship Chrysanthemum.  After a mysterious encounter with a stranded vessel, Jahdra reluctantly allows its crew onboard, setting off a chain of events. Overall, the story is well-written! The tension and character dynamics made me hooked with the story and I'm ecited to see where the story goes next!
Style: The writing style is very immersive, making it easy to visualize the setting and feel the tension. I especially love the dialogue in this story. It is very natural and helps to reveal character traits and dynamics without feeling forced. Jahdra’s internal monologue and dialogue in the 1st chatper are well-written and gives me a clear sense of her personality and situation.
Story: I have nothing to say for the plot development and pacing except that it's well done! Trully! The story unfolds smoothly and each chapter adds more layers keeping me engaged. While the pacing is well done, the occasional shifts between introspective passages and action scenes could be balanced more evenly, But as a whole, I love the story so far! Each new development makes me want to know what happens next.
Grammer: There is defiinitely some strong technical aspects of the writing. But the text is clean and I have not spotted any grammer errors.
Character: The characters, particularly Jahdra, are well-developed, with their complex personalities and are is what drives the story for me so far. Jahdra's internal struggles and actions makes a compelling protagonist. As the new crew settles in, more dialogue and interaction between them and the protagonist could help flesh out their personalities and motives.
The introduction of C-CIL adds a unique plot line as well, with his enigmatic nature and unfamiliarity with human customs bringing a fresh perspective to the crew dynamics. Byerley, with his cryptic demeanor, and Shae, who acts protective, ar

A lone wolf, strange encounters, a mysterious past, and back-and-forths between trust and skepticism in the vast of outer space - already a nice hook to keep readers eager for more as the journey progresses.
The first-person-view style is done well to put the reader in the shoes of the main character, Jahdra, as well as her state of mind with every event that unfolds. I found myself immersed in all the happenings I've read up to by this point, and the way more things about her are unraveled along with the story itself keeps a sense of mystery in the air, way to get us all intrigued.
Which brings me to the story - again, the way it unravels gradually makes the reader eager to see what awaits next. Though, while it didn't hinder anything about the story (as the true focus is in Jahdra's journey - both literally and figuratively), I think the lack of worldbuilding could be improved by filling in some crucial gaps such as the basics of how this particular world functions, or its background and such.
As for Jahdra, her reactions to the potentially untrustworthy people she ends up helping and the supposed flashbacks she has in the form of dreams seems to promise a gripping journey throughout the course of the story and maybe even some sweet character development, that's great in my view. And of course the aforementioned passengers promise just as much with their sense of mystique.
Last but not least, no issues with the grammar as far as I could tell. Everything is well-written and polished.
Overall, a pretty promising start to a pretty good story so far.

The story is written in a simple and clear language, making it pleasant and easy to read. Overall, it leaves a good impression. The narrative is told from a first-person perspective, a tactic frequently employed to aid readers in identifying with the main character. However, this results in a complete lack of description of the protagonist. The appearance, gender, and age are left offscreen. We only know that they are too young to be a Captain, but exactly how young? Luckily, we know it's a girl from the description of the work... It is possibly the author's intention, but it is quite confusing. It would be helpful to know more about the background, such as the station where the heroine stops for refueling and the ship itself.
    Story
Classic space adventures. We still have to discover what awaits the main heroine and who the guests are that she has taken on board. But the intrigue in each chapter keeps you hooked and excited to continue reading. The plot is perfectly paced, not too fast or too slow. It is filled with events while keeping you suspense and leaving some things unspoken, making you anticipate what will happen next.
    Grammar
There are no issues or complaints. There are no errors in the grammar and punctuation, which makes the text easy to read.
    Character
In my perspective, the characters constitute the pivotal element of this narrative. The protagonist's thoughts and feelings are described immersively, and the interactions with the ship's AI add a nice touch. The secondary characters are intriguing and seem quite realistic, making you want to learn more about them.

To be clear, I said this story is sexy because there's a lot of sexual tension. This story is NOT smut. In the 9 chapters I read, there wasn't even a kiss.
    Moving on:
The story follows Jahdra, the ship's captain (even if people often don't believe her because she's "just a kid.")
She is traveling through space alone at first. She also initially has no crew mates. Everyone seems suspicious of this so I assume the reason why is a mystery that will be revealed later.
She picks up 2 men as passengers along the way. 1 of which she finds irresistible despite his rude behavior. Eventually, she puts herself on the line to protect them.
It's not a bad hook. Those of you who love scifi with a hint of romance will definitely find this story worth a read!
Grammar: Pretty good. I noticed no significant typos or mistakes.
Characters: They're nice. The MC definitely reads like a real young woman. The men I haven't seen enough to get a good read on.
Style: The prose reminded me of some of the romantasy I've read. I think the romance is a side plot since there's plenty of scifi stuff going on, but the way the story is told with like character descriptions and so forth very much reminds me of the romance genre geared towards women.
