We all know the story.

A portal opens and a kid gets whisked away to a magical world. The kid learns, explores, fights, grows, and eventually even leads an uprising to liberate the inhabitants from under the crushing weight of evil. It’s inspirational, it’s endearing, it’s escapist — we love it.

Well… that was Jack Ledger’s story, and it was filled with romance and intrigue, and adventure.

But that story ended.

He fought, he won, and then he came back. Six years ago the mightiest hero of Nymia was crammed back into the body of the thirteen-year-old self he had left behind long before. Needless to say, adjusting back to life on Earth was easier said than done.

Swords, adventures, and magic were replaced by school, taxes, and minimum wage. A world of unimaginable color was taken away, and a world of dullness was now going to be Jack’s home for the rest of his life.

Or so he thought. Because in this ordinary world on a very unassumingly typical day, something shakes up Jack’s unfortunately normal Earth life and pulls him through another portal.

But not to Nymia.This one leads to another world.
