Anomaly: A Sacrifice Story

Mer and humans used to be friends through trade and partnership. But hundreds of years of separation has allowed rumours and myths to distort the image of mer into sirens, bloodthirsty monsters who sink ships and crave human flesh. The war did not help that perspective, and now mer keep away from the reefs and shallow waters where human boats dwell. Few can recall the time before, when things were peaceful, but Vinndalli remembers. And she is determined to rekindle the friendship that they once had, no matter the cost.
