- grovekeeperRoyal Road★★★★ 3.5Its a really good romance novel. Havent gotten yet to the action part. There is magic and other fantastical raxes, but there is mich left to explore. Its all unravelling slowly but surely. There is the perfect portrayal of lovestruck youth and the story unfolds through their words. Actually its the best example of show and not tell, the wordbuilding happens in conversation mostly which is enjoyable. The pace is slow. The grammar needs serious improvement. There are minor mistakes here and there, many typos. Spelling errors and tense errors are frequent. Another problem is the continuous usage of names. There would be at least 6 names in every para which makes a tiresome read. Its not just names, its a whole series of words, especially the chapter with men of the empire. An expansion of available vocab is a must.
Then there is the frequent dose of gender equality and female empowerment, it gets tiring after its repeated every now and then. The attractiveness of masculine shoulders also stand out too much. Don't men have any other features?
