An A.Is’ guide to genocide, tank edition. [Tank you (A tank evolution lite litrpg)]
Community Rating
Description
This is written in bri’ish english, so no, I did not spell colour wrong in this sentence, if anyone assumes that. The fiction is based on aBritishtank after all.
Alpha was already having a bad day. His core was shutting down after a laser bisected him, and the people he was meant to protect laid dead on the ground all around. And when his core finally powered down, he was surprised to find himself in a mark. 5 'tank' a ww1 era landship with a canon and a machine gun, and only a system and slightly eccentric gods for company.
In this strange world, will this lowly tank evolve back into the challenger 3, pinnacle of british engineering? Or will he power down, forever this time?
Update once a week, any more is a special event. Chapters between 1500 and 2500 words.
What to expect:
Chaos. A metric fuck-ton of it.
Moments that make you laugh, but also make you wonder why.
Some scenes that are mildy emotional.
Swearing. It aint a small amount either.
No harem (what do you think a tank could do with women?)
Slightly op Mc with only ammo holding him back.
Do not take this seriously. It's a comedy with lots of doesn't make any sense slapped on the side. Turn your brain off or risk it turning into nuclear waste.
But most importantly, modern(esque) tech beating some poor medieval fantasy blokes with the power of war crimes. There is no longer any geneva.
Volume 2:
Genocide in space, essentially. But with the added system elements, and all previous characters. Aliens won’t know what hit ‘em.

- BobalotristhefifthRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0The style is a type that i like- humour, but also with a lot of violence. This isnt your typical murder hobo story, it is the perfect blend of humour and gore its a masterpeice! (Hyperbole in action)
The story is unique, in which it combines 3 genres: modern military in a fantsasy world, monster evolution, and litrpg. I like all three, but the story is still young which prevents a five, the story point is also simple, ai dies by swlf destruct. Ai comes to new world in primitive tank chasis. Ai has to evolve to better tanks while nuking everything. How does a tank evolve? I have no clue.
The grammar is alright later on, but there are always little mistakes, as you can tell by a reader correction almost every chapter. The use of grammar is not too bad either.
The charachters are quite basic and throwaway, but the author does kill them off. Very often. Dont get attached. The 4 'main charachters' are George whistler, a bandit turnee good. Charmand. An elf that hates his peoples hubris. Alpha. A slightly crazy ai. And the pantheon of gods. Weird but wacky.
Overall i would give it a five out of five though, as i enjoy the chaos that is in every chapter. Dont take it seriously. Have fun. Nitpickings aside, it is a very enjoyable story, and it ia perfect for people that qant to read a laid back fiction, not too serious, but also not absolute gibberish. Sure its chaos, but chaos with a purpose. Its funny, its chaotic.
Would recvommend. - Ez4u2cRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0What would it take for you Join us on this absolutely whack-a-doodle journey… you want a cookie? 🍪
Down to brass tacks, I guess that this story is teetering on the edge of understanding and flippant insanity, in a good way tho?
ha, in truth it’s a pretty solid story with a good and engaging author. The mc is… UNIQUE to say the least (take a Brit then a terminator and put em’ in a blender). Personally I’m enjoying this absolute abomination of words that have been cobbled into a story of lunacy.
good story, premise, mc and the little “flashes” of non Tonk allow for really solid world building and a awesome way to build hype.
Don’t worry, whilst yes there are “side characters” atleast so far the author hasn’t turned into a crack addict about the alternative pov’s. - SpedryRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0This story is very humorous and enjoyable to read if you enjoy lots of chaos and destruction.
The unique premise of a literal tank reincarnating sets it apart from other litrpg stories and the extremely broken skills are always unexpected and hilarious (especially some of the side character's skills). Despite the tank being incredibly OP, the stakes are always high as the tank's AI rushes head first into problems and has a tendency to self destruct. The fast paced action keeps the story engaging, despite the relatively simple plot (tank commits genocide). The vivid descriptions of destruction wonderfully highlights the chaos that unfolds making it a pleasure to read. Watching arrogant fantasy creatures getting obliterated by modern weaponry never gets old for me. The side character POVs are especially funny as we get to experience the power of the tank in its full glory and feel the terror of the pathetic side characters. The tank's AI is also sufficiently competent (debatable) to not feel stupid and almost always chooses the most exciting option, making it one of my favourite protagonists.
The only slight problem of this story is that grammar occasionally has some mistakes and some sentences don't flow that well. However, this is relatively minor and doesn't really affect the experience.
Overall, this is definitely a peak story. 10 out of 10 would recommend. Although probably not to any sensible adults as the amount of war crimes and innuendos may be slightly excessive in their opinion (I personally find it funny). - SundialSixRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0This reminds me of the person in my psych ward talking about vibrational energies and their mystical properties, but the history of tanks and how if a magical land had oil or spices they would be screwed. AND I LOVE IT. 100% my favorite book when I’m feeling mentally unwell. The rambling pairs very well with going over the history of tanks and modern warfare. I really like how they integrated AI into the story in a funny way and also had the mc get hurt (before instantly regenerating) to show that it’s not that they are invulnerable, just that magic and medieval weapons are lacking. I hope the author keeps writing it until Alpha gets his old tank back.
- everynamehasbeentakenRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Ok. Been a long tine lurker on rr. Other stories ive read ar alright, but this is just glorious. Chaos reigns supreme.
Overall i gave it a five stars, simply because apart from some spelling and grammar errors here and there, its perfect in almodt every way.
For the story its a very simple action plot. Tank ai gets isekaied, a unique situation, that gets its shackles removed by lack of geneva. Then proceeds to send everything in sight to their maker.
Grammar. Arguably the worst rating, but that says a lot. Only a few spelling and punctuation errors here and there, nothing unexpected.
Charachter. Sure, some charachter sare shallow, but this isnt going to be some fleshed out, lore rich fiction. Its an absolute fluster cuck. And im here for it.
The style is brilliant. Not 5 year old adjective overload, or a complete lack either. If author was a popular one, this probavly wouldve been number one on rising stars already. Action packed, an adrenaline rush with everyrhung happening all at once.
Overall, i would reccomend this to anyone reading this review. The engagement from the author is also commendable, responding to every comment, in eithw a humourous or logical way.
