Description
In one day. One day only. My life turned upside down.
I made enemies as I treaded ‘Into the unknown world’. My struggles to compete against this world was farfetched.
I made many friends and allies shouldering my burdens with me but nonetheless, chaotic events spread like wildfire.
Who am I?
I’m Ray.

- OnyavarRoyal Road★★ 1.5I got here by random browsing and have no idea what to make of it. Still, I spent a few minutes, and want the author to do better.
What I grasped is that it takes place in 2020, features a fictional variant of the covid pandemic, and a dark/military organization tries to do a coup in the United Kingdom (?) or just a . Is this going to be SF? Fantasy? Military thriller? Dark alternate reality under a New World Order? Can't say after skimming 10 chapters already, so I don't exactly care.
Decent grammar (not too many spelling errors), bad story-telling style (leaving the reader fully unclear what is going on). That second point includes "who is speaking" and "where are we", for at least half the time, which turns the reading exercise into a surprise rollercoaster.
Not too bad as a writing exercise. But please come up with a plot, write a setup backstory, and then develop that basis into an understandable story. Instead I see... polls in which direction the story should go? Like a CYOA story? Not going to work with only 1 follower.
