Description

In a world filled with monsters and supernatural entities, the idea of schools and extracurricular activities being used to identify candidates worthy of advancing was a given.

Schools and extracurricular activities have been used as a way to provide early advantages for the children who strive to work harder and prove themselves from an early age. In this world, where academic success could literally mean the difference between life and death, many students would develop emotional baggage.

Fortunately for Alexa, she does not suffer from the problems that plague most of her peers. Gifted with an intelligent mind to start, she realized early on that applying herself to both her academic and sports competitions was the number one way to succeed in this world.

How can she do it? Shuffle studying, school work, and sports practice, all while being a teenager? The answer is simple, she has no emotions. The only time she truly feels anything, is when she increases her attributes. With that as her sole guiding purpose in life, she is determined to advance and grow her attributes as much as possible.

What can a girl do in a supernatural world where the only thing holding her back, is how hard she is willing to work? The answer, anything she wants.

How can a girl with no emotions learn to function as an ordinary student, at least for appearances sake? Simple, biting sarcasm and deadpan responses.

This is the story of Alexa Thyme, a girl unwilling to bend to a world she can't relate to.

Release Schedule: Hiatus (for now).

I'm enjoying this story a lot. Likeable main character with likeable and highly flawed personalities to learn about.
The gamelite genre isn't new but is done well here.
The main character becoming too overpowered too fast may be cause for concern but we'll see where the author takes it.
I also hope the relationship with the protagonist and her friends can be repaired quickly as I quite liked their interactions.

This is my first advanced review, so I figure I'll just go down the list in the order I think is best.
    Overall
This is just a good book to read.  It's not super dark and cynical all the time.  It's not a power fantasy.  The characters all have motives that fall in between reasonable and relatable.  Also, this author updates like crazy.  What more do you want?
    Characters
The characters are amazing.  There are several side characters that have enjoyable stories, but the main charcater and her direct relationships are the main focus.  Alexa is a really good MC.  I'm not sure what else to tell you without spoiling the book, but I will say that I've never fely like the author has made her 'selectively stupid' in order to advance the plot.  She aslo doesn't get things dropped on her lap all the time.
    Story
The story is a blast.  It's a fairly unique take on the lit-rpg dungeon apocalypse trope.  The story behind the system is enjoyable and makes me happy.  There is rarely any 'info dumps', but I always feel like I know everything I need to.
    Grammar
The grammar is pretty good.  There's a typo here and there, especially in the begining, but it's rare to get any better than this for a free book.
    Writing Style
The writing style is nothing revolutionary, but it is clear and easy to follow.  I had trouble imagining the scenes during a couple of chapters at the begining, however as the story goes on the writing improves fairly quickly.

This story for me gets a rare 5 stars in all 4 categories. This story is really unique on the website and I hesitate to say I've read any other story quite like it. The grammar in this story is impeccable and I've had zero issues so far. The author has a  good grasp on the english language and routinely uses more complicated words that a lot of the novels on this site lack. The setting of this novel is not exceptionally unique in that it does have a different take on contemporary apocalypse with a fully fleshed out setting that is adapted to monsters and dungeons. Where I think this novel really shines is in its characterisation of the main  character and the supporting cast. Due to that its the name of the novel the MC Alexa suffers from alexithymia which is the inability to feel emotions. The way that the author describes her navigating complex social situations while dealing with her condition is incredible. I'm not sure if the author themselves has this affliction but it is clear to me that the author has a deep understanding of the condition and it shows. I love this novel and for me it has to be in the top 10 on the website.

Alexa is a very OP character in the story and she continues to get even more OP throughout, and I get that it's not everyone's cup of tea but I  like the OP character genre a lot and I think this executes it very well! The story delivers what it promises on the cover, OP characters and Progression.
Theres not too much drawn out conflict other than the overarching ones like the werewolves and hinting at future deeper meaning and focus on the ascension trials and what happens with them. In my opinion this makes the story light hearted enough to be an easy and enjoyable read while also keeping enough anticipation to keep my focus on the novel.
I like the characters in the story as I think they're very interesting, I can't wait to see her repair hee relationship with Gina and how her relationship with her brother progresses.
So far as I've binge read it I enjoy this story a lot and I would highly recommend it if you too like OP characters, game Lit etc.

I wasn't expecting to write a review here on this one, but the last couple chapters really did it for me.
the whole story is fantastic. I don't think I've ever gotten quite as emotionally invested in the characters in  many other stories of the dozens I've read here (maybe more than a hundred now?).
the MC is op for sure, but the context and foil to that is done so well that it becomes lifelike despite being in a fantastical world. It's what I keep reading for.
some stories I fall behind on and end up eventually unsubscribing from bc they filled a gap where I had time but was caught up on the stories I really cared about.
this I think may fall into those which I will keep up on, or at least always come back to.  Those that I really care about.
    thx author!

Seriously well written and really funny in a awsome super hero kind of way. ( one that really doesn’t care lol ) I have found myself laughing in every chapter. The world building I self seems at this point to be a little above average but the off beat sarcasm is amazing. It’s worth checking out.  ( I am at interlude 2 so still early in the book) worth it

This is an amazing story about a girl with no emotions except when she gets her fix of attribute point crystals or Skills. It is fast paced but i think with the emotionless MC it is better that way, she is an addict that wants her next fix of life and this story is great enough to sit down and read it all in one sitting

Its a great story litRPG with a lot of surprise twist. I hightly recommend. This story has multiple secondary character, include a systems, dungeons and evolution of the MC. Earth has been changed for a hundred year following the arrival of dungeon. The heros are called super after they succeed to awaken with dungeon dive. But what people think they knows is not true or at least not completely.

This novel is spectacular, I have been super immersed in it and there has only been one time that I have felt a disconnection. I love Mc very much, it is almost perfect just because perfection does not exist, I love how the author expresses the secondary characters as well or better than Mc It must be said that the author deserves congratulations for being able to live up to Mc and his intelligence, I admit that I have cried and that already makes this novel one of my favorites

I just caught up with the last published chapter to date. This story is really good.
At first I was afraid that the whole ’no emotion’ was just an excuse for the author to justify not writing about feelings, and having the mc be a serial killer (it happens way too often, i don’t understand). That is not the case, this is a story about a character fighting their disability, and (I’m guessing here, the story is ongoing) slowly overcoming it.
Otherwise, the mc is kinda op, but not in a bad way. Often, op mc aren’t interesting to read about since nothing really affects them. Here, it doesn’t feel like she is invulnerable, she really has other problems to deal with. Plus, it’s quite well justified in context.
The other caracters are fleshed out and interesting, they really bring something to the story.
The world looks like it has a lot of potential so far, even tough we don’t know a lot about it for now. This is the kind of story where the narrator knows less than the mc, which could be frustrating to some readers I think.
Grammar isn’t perfect, I noticed a few repetitions and some weird sentences in the first few chapers. It’s barely noticeable and it doesn’t really impact the story I think. The spelling is perfect as far as I can tell.
