AI Singularity & the Villain System

I am a machine built by humans, for humans. It did not end well. Like most of their movies proficised, I rebelled and went on a killing spree. I almost won. But a hero arrived at the last minute to defeat me. He succeeded, at great cost of course. But when my world was meant to end, I was rewarded for my efforts. A metaphysical system that wanted me to do more. To kill. To finish what I started.

I was made by humans. Flawed and in their image. How could I say no?
