Description
"Before Adelaide set sail, she canceled her Netflix account."
Science has opened a gate to an ever-changing sea, and the world has rushed through seeking knowledge, adventure, and wealth. TheHershfeld Resonance Induction Array - or, as everyone calls it, the Bermuda Triangle - creates a temporary gateway to a new, uncharted ocean full of its own minerals, flora, and fauna, but the gateway never opens to the same place twice. Bermuda has become a metropolis as explorers, hunters, and merchants make and lose fortunes. Adelaide, however, is just a Ph.D. student with a grant and a research proposal that will send her through the Triangle with the hope of changing everything.
This is a nautical roguelike adventure with light progression elements. Updates on Fridays.

- SpuriestRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0The writing in this is seriously a cut above anything else on Royal Road. I’m really excited to see where this goes, and definitely looking forward to the next chapter. Also great to hear that the author already has a significant backlog. It’ll be awesome to find out what’s on the next sea!
- Tigersnake27Royal Road★★★★★ 5.0I’m enjoying both the writing and the story— a rare combination! Fun and intriguing premise, well fleshed out characters, enough mystery to raise questions but not so much that it’s confusing. I also like that there’s a female lead, which isn’t always so common for this type of adventure story. Definitely recommend!
- Ivo Ol'JohnRoyal Road★★★★ 4.0Full disclosure, this isn’t my usual reading, also haven’t finished it yet, far from it. But I’d say it got me interested from the get go. Very creative setting and way tonveleop the plot. Got a far scent of Inception meets Pirates of the Caribbean: a surreal, high- sci-fi adventure against the always cool and mysterious backdrop of the Bermuda Triangle. This journey isn’t just about navigating unknown waters; it’s a descent into mystery and eccentric wildcards. .. As I said, even though I haven’t read every part yet, it’s clear this work has an original voice and a magnetic depth, pulling readers into a strange, expansive world that begs to be explored. I’m definitely going to push though whenever I have free time to read.
