Across a Misty Bridge

Steve Adderson is just an ordinary guy. He works unhappily in a call centre, grinding his way through the day and hustling a little re-selling on the side.

The re-selling was barely covering costs until Steve found himself on a misty bridge making a deal with a strange elfen who talked about magic and fairy gold. Steve walked away with a handsome cheque, a great bonus and the reputation of someone who could deal with those outside our normal world.

If he could survive the risks, surely the rewards would be worth more than the ephemeral fairy gold. And if he survives, how could he survive unchanged?
