This really is a lovely story, a bit of Merry and Pippin with a side of hope, adventure, and murder. There’s a bit of a fast found, misshaped, and awkward family to this, holding it neatly together. Despite unexpected chaos, our heroes bravely proceed to unknown parts, tripping and falling with great devastation yet remarkable recovery. Highly recommended!

I enjoyed this quite a bit. The hero had an overpowered skill, but lots of glaring weaknesses to balance it out. Supporting cast was smooth, and not forced. While the storyline is well executed, I think it could use a slightly improved sense of direction. Perhaps instead of random encounters with bad people to drive the plot forward, a more purposely set of adversaries could be introduced? Like I said though, it's well executed so I enjoyed it plenty.
Fun read! I will look forward to the next book!

It IS good. Good enough to keep me reading at least so like good job! I'll updste this some point and be super embarrassed but rn Shame isn't in my vocabulary.

I am not currently being coerced to write this review by a strange group of adventurers and a sharp-toothed horse. After witnessing their adventures, I came to the conclusion that these strange individuals are the perfect example on how to fail upward. If you want a funny story combined with a little bit of grit, I do recommend that you read this story.
