Description
After oversleeping, space and time hopping researcher Liyanne Zhuma, from the Pleiades Star System, rushes to her transport location to return home after a five year stint on the field. At the secluded waterfall pool that perfectly reflects the moon, she has just a few minutes before the sun rises to get home.
She is literal steps away, only to be pushed in by a man running from a swarm of bees. Her robe made of lunar fabric is ripped and her transport fob - disguised as a jade pendant - is broken. Without them she can’t get home...but there is another way.
She just needs one thing: silk woven by moonlight to replace her ripped robe.
Duke Zhang Shenwei of the Zhun Dynasty returns home from war and stumbles upon a woman bathing after accidentally pushing her into a pool while being chased by bees. He is determined to be responsible for her by marrying her despite her protests.
He can give her anything, but all the strange woman wants from him are silkworms and a place to grow them. He agrees, but has another reason he wants to marry her: he needs a diversion to keep marriage proposals at bay while he settles his estate.

- teeRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Alas, by the time you've comfortably lost yourself in the story, it's over.
Short, fun, fluffy, for sure, this is a lighthearted story. That said, the characters live and breath in their short time on stage. An enjoyable and well paced read, with a little bonus scene at the end to tie things up neatly. - RznRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Accidental Interstellar Bride is what the blurb describes. While it runs on a bunch of cliche tropes, such as a powerful or noble man causing trouble for a beautiful woman that leads to them living together, this is a fun read. The plot is incredibly simple and it relies on simple scenes to develop the relationship. There is some romance, but nothing is explicit. The sci-fi aspects do not hold up if you think about them, but it could easily be replaced with the "Lunar Kingdom" or another variant for all the bearing it has on 90% of the story. The epilogue feels like a way to force the elements together and it mostly fails to cap it off. The natural end is with Chapter 7 and the immediately following (in the same page) Epilogue just did not have the tone or atmosphere to match the rest of the piece. By ignoring that, this is 5 stars otherwise 4.5 would be more appropriate for how it detracts from all the emotional buildup to the end of chapter 7.
- SourTaffyRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0While the story was short I really enjoyed the world we were exposed to with the mix of wuxia and scifi. Was a very interesting interpretation of the classic "marrying the moon" tale. The two main characters had good chemistry as well. Altogether a fun read to binge through in an hour.
- Xavius_NightRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0I came here for a romance story, and stayed to get my heart ripped out by a unique retelling of the fable of the moon princess.
Beautiful work, loved it. Especially the ending.
Be ready to feel pain at emotional anguish, and to have a glorious, proper fairy tale ending. - Zesty ZephyrRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Well written with wonderful flow. The pacing felt neither too fast nor too slow. The length was just right for the story being told.
The main characters had distinct personalities that complimented each other well. None of the supporting characters felt "the same". Dialogue is definitely a strong point in this story.
It's clear that the author knew exactly what they wanted to convey, and did so in a concise yet engaging way.
Thank you for a delightful tale ~

A really entertaining, relatively short, and concise story! It's one I would definitely recommend to a new reader, as well as to seasoned readers. Especially if they aren't sure what to read next, and can't seem to choose something from they to read list. - AutumnOceanRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0A beautiful story with a sci-fi and unique twist on multiple Chinese LN mainstays rendered seriously and well-explained; wonderfully written, sassy and messy by turns. Happy and sad, funny and tragic.
The fight scenes are a little weak for the wuxia tag, but since the story is not at all about that, everything else carries well.
I'd have loved to read more and more of the life after the romance, but this is already more than good enough. I cannot recommend this more.
Bite-sized, and just enough to satiate. - BeewineRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0It's a sweet little Sci Fi Romance. One part Wuxia, Two parts Science Fiction and Three parts love story. Watch as a practical couple forced together get more involved with each other and find true love. You are being warned : Short but enjoyable romance with a happy ending.
- Christin90Royal Road★★★★★ 5.0I really enjoyed this. Had me in tears at places and smiling at the end.
Given the fact that there are only 7 chapters romance is reasonably fast paced, however it is logical and not forced.
nothing else really to say just need to get this review to fifty words long. - CircusPonyRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0This author is really one of the best.
I also got to read ahead as a part of the Patreon, so I know a bit more of the story.
This story is super cute, and has some elements from all of my favorite genre. It isn't an insta love, but a slow build of small bits of love between the couple. You have interstellar travel, yet a humble historical-ish setting.
This reads a lot like a light novel, honestly, which I am a fan of for shorter stories. Thankfully, the writing is similar in style to Tori Transmigrated (by the same author) which I am a huge fan of.
