Everything changes when a cult accidentally turns Gwendolyn into a vampire. No longer able to lead her normal life as a court scribe and official, she decides to take on a new night job as an adventurer. Fighting monsters and collecting their blood is a long road with many lessons as Gwen works towards becoming a top-tier adventurer in the royal province of Weimar Glenne. As Gwen learns her new trade as an adventurer, she decides to write a journal to share all she's learned with new, budding adventurers.
As she travels, she will find friends, family, and others like herself who want to be seen for the person they are, behind the monster stereotypes.

- LegionOfReasonRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Honestly, I am only a few chapters in, but so far the recounting frame the story is set in works wonders. The narrative of future self storytelling as a journal with lessons for future adventurers is a rather clever narrative device. So far the character seems believable and the reactions genuine. I can understand the lack of panic given that the person telling the story is the future version of the character and is obviously an analytical sort that might not include overflowing emotions. This seems well worth a read if the Author keeps up this level of quality.
