Quickly for those wondering whether to read this book or not; Great novel with an intriguing world, plot and a brilliantly developed lead character.
The rest will include spoilers and is all my own opinions/interpritation😊👍:
While not to big myself up, I have now read most of the Ochroleucous backlog and yet not really done any in-depth review of it, partially becuase I am somewhat lacking in my ability to review webnovels but also becuase as a set of books they present an interesting challange - So perhaps it is fitting that the world between worlds be the one I take a proper swing at - A book that besides literally tieing all of Ochro's worlds together, also embraces some of the Stuido Gibli & Disney-esk traits of his writing more openly than his other works - With Kiko as a somewhat fairy-tale figure (if somewhat unsuited to that role in her own opinion) surrounded by a cast of colourful 'dwarfs' as it were.
Like all Ochro's works there is a consitent quality across the board in terms of grammer and fundamentals - Cause & effect are maintained, grammer is strong and there is some great descripitive work throught out - It is not however perfect, with the writing lacking a certain degree of pathos in its final act, a character who could of done with more time and a longing for more - We will start with that last one.

In no small part the world between world acts as a 'travelogue' but one with an interesting difference.
In most fictional travelogues you have some form of guide or concerned party, someone who wants or already knows what the world holds - Even in the case of parody travelogue such as 'Colour of Magic', you get a sort of sarcastic guide - Despite the title of 'A Tour', Kiko is at best disinterested in many aspects of the worlds and at worst subconsiouly stiffling her own understanding of it due to her personal hang ups. While Orrin and the rest of the cast do peridoically chip in, they can be somewhat vague or unrelable in their own interpritation o
