Before we get into spoilers and my thoughts on each book I just wanted to say. I quite enjoyed where each book ended and begun. It felt very right to me which is something I find a number of authors fail to accomplish. Secondly overall I give a thumbs up but I'll provide more detail in the next heading
    Book 1
    Spoiler: Spoiler
Overall I enjoyed book one, the message at the beginning terrified me though. Darker than years of mental and physical trauma? Didn't sound pleasant. In the end it wasn't that bad. Perhaps its just the odd weight I give to mental torture but honestly nothing really topped the first short while in terms of just uncomfortable feelings. Not a complaint mind you just something of note. Next I am pleased that the night she went out partying was, skipped, and quickly resolved. I hate it when characters loose there memory especially if its the main one however it was handled well, bit strange and I felt it was bit too out of character even after the change but not that bad. I cannot say I felt strongly about any character during the first book, this has been helped immensely but for just the first book only Sora kept my interest. Story wise I liked all the references and the nine days of transformations I think it was handled well. Pacing in the first book was also great never felt bored reading it. All in all, a solid first book but at this point it hasn't truly captured me if this makes sense
    Book 2
    Spoiler: Spoiler
So we've started book two and everyone's been captured. I like that we have the whole cast together for book two but in some ways it really left that final fight of book one unresolved. Ultimately though I feel this was the best decision because it creates a strangely compelling atmosphere almost like a train car murder mystery. Everyone is thrown together, we know the players but we do not know who will help who. Which priority take president. This was truly where I was like YES. Anyway then we get introduced to Diane. I have some mixed

Things seemed to start off slow at first but the quality of the writing is immediately apparent. Detail and description are given in the right places and to the right extent. While initially they have of the story seems like it should have been faster, it actually suits it perfectly with the build up and tension of events as the story progresses. It really kept me on my toes as I couldn't stop reading until I caught up to what is currently the end of book 1 and I'm still hungry for more.
This story is definitely Favorite material in my book. I've found no issue with it. I highly recommend everyone pick this story up.

Not much else to say. Good story, good characters, and a well developed world. atmosphere similar to worm except with folklore and mythology. The only real issue I have is that it only updates every other week, which is unfortunate. I recommend at least checking it out, if you haven't already.

As a huge lover of any mythology, this book is great. There are quite a few different mythologies that exist in this universe, from the Nordic mythes to the Japanese. While there are obviously liberties taken, it is still enjoyable. I suggest reading if your into mythology like me, or just like a good story.

Good engaging story. Though sometimes a little descriptive, but the author does a good job of blending them in the story.
It has good amount of tension from the first chapter and really has a way of drawing the readers in. The pacing is also excellent. though, in my opinion(just mine mind you) the protagonist's frivolousness makes the exposure of the world a little slower than necessary as we follow her through the story. She seems to get distracted too easily to really sort herself out. The emotional changes are a little too fast in my opinion. But those don't really make the story any less enjoyable.
Finishing chapter sixteen in one go, l am left wanting more.

I really want to love this story. I really do. It's got a lot going for it, but it has just turned into a chore to try to make myself read it.
To start off, first book, really good. A bit difficult to maintain suspension of disbelief during the bullying but it picks up quickly from there.
Second book has the same issue when the new organization is introduced. (Serious question for author, how would an org like that not step on a gods toes in hundreds of years and get ripped apart? They seem woefully underequipped and undereducated for what they do and how they do it)
The third book is where it gets bad. The plot grinds to a halt for "character development" which amounts to ridiculous and drawn out lectures from characters for exposition or explanation, invariably resulting in praising the MC for just being that awesome. The first what, 40(?) chapters of the book take place in a day filled with lectures, plot diversions, and so many new plot threads that the main one gets lost in the knot.
    As for writing, it's complicated.
The world is fleshed out well through the first couple of books, going from just Miami to a multidimensional 4d chess match between gods. There's hints of plots and obvious agendas, grudges and history.
The descriptions and dialog are frankly bad at parts. Most descriptions are stilted simple sentences chained into mind numbing paragraph after paragraph that very specifically and painstakingly tell you exactly what you are 'looking' at. Dialog switches from natural to expositionary lectures at the drop of the hat, and every character takes their turn talking like a robot. And don't forget to talk about how awesome Sora is. And how she got everything from her family. And how awesome and nice she is. And how great she's doing.
The last major problem I have is the humans. They pop up in the second book, basically out of nowhere despite technically being involved in the story prior, and just jump into every conversation. They interupt every dialog. For

The first chapter was fairly dramatic. Mean girl minion walks in on counselor session and threatens counselor to let them bully the MC? Okaaaaaay

    Book 1 was pretty decent.
Fun, dramatic, coming of age tale of a 16 year old bullied girl who discovers a grand secret about her heritage, makes new friends and frees herself from the bullies tormenting her.
Book 2 was none of that.
Main character could have easily been replaced by a bowling ball for all the relevance she had on the actual plot. And any hint of the current conflict possibly being solved, instantly triggers a new problem dropped on the characters to make sure that nothing gets resolved. We see almost none of the things that drive the story forward except right until the end. And even then there are more questions than answers.
And without going into major spoiler, the reversal with the book 1 villains feels at best forced, and lacks any real weight.
At the end of chapter 31, i am left staring at the screen, with no emotion but annoyance, and a single question in my mind.
    Seriously?
That said, grammar is ok, description are done well, writing is competent and the world is interesting.
I am often left despairing over stories that, at their core, would be excellent, if the writing was actually competent. Here, i find the opposite. The 2nd book is a bad story, but it is well written.

MC and plot way too unbelievable, MC starts out as a masochist, then turns into a mouthy masochist and stays like that. Conflict is written like in times before the internet, except one has to exchange "internet" for "common sense". Dialogues are jarring and sentence structure is all over the place.
