A Spark of Luck (Magic Academy Progression)

Magic has existed since the dawn of time; difficult to control and dangerous. Many have integrated science and physics with magic to create wondrous inventions. The story follows the life of Jack; A young boy, who is learning to live by any means necessary. One day he places what he believes to be a low-key magical object in his pocket. In actuality, it is a highly prized elemental core that can grant you access to powerful magical abilities. Jack is unknowingly at the ideal age to receive magic and his body absorbs the elemental core from his pocket. He must now go to school and train his powers while learning about a world that abandoned him.
