Army Ranger Sergeant Dean Forester, an elite RSTF operator, is sent on a high-stakes mission to retake and destroy a secret lab that has fallen to humanity’s greatest enemy: the Orith. Twilight’s hope is all but extinguished—until she stumbles upon a mysterious, battle-scarred human, a legend come to life from the depths of the Everfree Forest.

Bound by fate, Dean and Twilight must forge an unlikely alliance to stop the Dark Elves from expanding their tyrannical rule across the globe. With Dean’s military prowess and Twilight’s fading magic, they face impossible odds: ruthless enemies, treacherous allies, and a world that no longer believes in heroes. As they journey together, Dean will have to confront his own demons and the loss that haunts him, while Twilight must rediscover the spark of hope she thought was lost forever.
