- The 1st progenitorRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0the premise has been done before, but the story has its own unique twists that break it away from classic cultivation stories, the humor is hilarious and the world well built, the Mc isn’t some bloodthirsty psycho but still has balls of steel,
Spoiler: Spoiler
Even when he wears a dress! - EmpireofTrustRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Well written, humorous, witty and beguiling as it draws you further into the story as a well meaning fellow surfs the edge of chaos to victory.
All before realising he is falling off another precipice.. - EmptyRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0It so good that I feel resposible to leave a Review
Okay, I am not good with words so let me say this in short words.
The story is good. While I have read many novels here in royalroadl this one is I think I want to leave a review most(note: my total reviews can only be counted in just one hand) well, not because I am lazy, not at all
The characters were well written not that I am good at writing nor do i write (maybe someday) but each one of them is unique...yes, even the not-talking sword (I like 'her').
Also, the most suprising part is the use of japanese adressing is not awkward at all, like it was so smooth (Sorry, for my lack of grammar to express how good it is)
Also, maybe because of my taste, short chapters without at least too much info dump is good, better(?), Awsome..meh. The given info is like stack of foundation being laid symmetrically.
And most of our MC had a clear goal.
That's all and I will edit if I want to add more.
Waiting for the new chapters and glad that you share to us your wonderful story. - LightningShadow7Royal Road★★★★★ 5.0I have to say the story is extremely funny and the writing is impeccable. The main character's snail really adds to the story in a great way. I highly suggest reading this masterpiece.
- MandyBRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0I haven't finished it yet, but feel compelled to comment from now. I love the detailed description of the characters and the settings. Masterfully written and easy to read and enjoy. It's very different from my usual reads and that makes it difficult for me to be interested in people's work, but this one has an appealing story I feel is worth discovering. I'm super excited to see what happens with Kenja.
Great work. - TigerCannonRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0One of the most amusing comedies on the site. This is how you do cultivation comedy. You have some buffoon with a little luck and a lot of smarts come in and manipulate these great powerhouses into giving him what he wants, all while they trip over themselves and bump into each other in the chaos caused.
Minimal to no grammar errors, and the writing feels great. Flowery when it needs to be, to convey the haughtiness up the cultivators, punchy when it needs to be, for contrast and humor, and witty all the time, with the clever banter.
The characters are all interesting and fun. Most of them aren't all that deep, but they are interesting little bundles of cliches that serve the story well.
The story is good too. It moves along at a decent pace, there's a good number of twists and turns and mini arcs and progression. the last several chapters have lost their way a bit, but in the most recent couple, the author found the thread again and is back to the blistering pace of chaos we know and love.
One of my favorite stories on the site, and a treat whenever I see a new chapter. Keep it up! - PixelFilterRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Your start off slow, but you had me hooked by the fourth chapter. I've gone back to reread chapters and noticed that you correct them regularly. You have an interesting writing style that tries to draw the situation perfectly, I am a little confused over who is the main character between Kenja and the snail, but I love them both regardless, so I give your character score a 5/5. Please continue writing this lovely story.
- CalaventeRoyal Road★★★★★ 4.5This story is about a guy that is so blessed... that everybody think he is cursed.
happily he finds help with the strongest... snail (? ! ?)
and everything after that is comedy gold, with our nice and hardworking MC trying to balance the OPness of an egocentric Snail and his own unexpected path in cultivation.
The MC is likeable, and along with 2 accomplices, well defined.
The World is starting to expand and plots within plots are glimpsed.
nice story-telling and slow moving action makes for a nice read... as long as the author keeps the chapters flowing. - katokashiRoyal Road★★★★★ 4.5Warning. Crossdressing imminent.
Solid stuff notwithstanding. Especially the humour. - Minion Number QRoyal Road★★ 2.0I read 15 chapters and am just bored by this story. Maybe it picks up later but that's almost half of the chapters currently written with nothing to keep me interested.
My main problem is that the characters are uninteresting. The main character is the standard bland and genetic protagonist you see in so many stories. "He wants to be a cultivator but has failed the entrance test 17 times. Look at what an underdog he is! But surprisingly, he's not actually useless, he's actually 1000x stronger than everyone else!!" This has been done many times and it's not interesting to see again.
Oh yeah, he's now going to pretend to be a woman because of reasons? Let me guess, he'll end up becoming friends with the princess and they'll get into harem anime antics because she thinks he's a woman.
As for the titular snail? It just comes across as a plot device for the main character to get stronger than everyone else. Maybe it will end up actually having character later on but I'm not willing to stick around to find out.
