A Machine's Cage: Second Life, Second Chances

Reality is a strange thing. What makes something real?

The story of Reese, a soul from a life unlived, and a purpose unfulfilled and left unknown. But that's the past or at least a past.

Seemingly given a second chance for reasons he can't understand, Reese awakens in a new world, a world of magic ruled by logic. Magic he soon discovers he does not possess. Can he find ways to fix his handicap and grow? Perhaps his old memories and learning's will give him the edge he needs. If magic obeys the rules of logic, it can be brought to heel.

His journey will take him across the Six Kingdoms, as he finds friends, allies and maybe more. All the while as he builds his cage, unaware of the deep mechanization beyond this life and the forces that seek to control not this life, but the infinite number beyond it.

Author's note, This will be the first of possibly 4 books for the main character Reese. I'm also working on books for 3 of the other semi-main characters, and some side stories that I've been using to flush the world out.
