A Knight’s Journey: The rise of a Modern World's cultivator

Description
Author: This story has romance and cultivation elements, though the most important part of it is its characters. I strive to portray their doubts, worries and disappointments, along with their hopes, happiness and pride, as well as I can. Characters will learn, grow and bravely transcend their fears, all in the hope of being able to live freely alongside their loved ones. This is what I enjoy writing and I hope you will also enjoy reading it.
Synopsis:What happens after you die? This was a question that baffled many, with two mainstream thoughts battling each other: Religion with its Manichean division of Heaven and Hell and Science with its nihilistic approach of returning to the Universe as cosmic dust. Turned out Damian Knight, now Demian Mikhailov, discovered that none of those theories were actually true when his previous life’s memories awakened after being knocked out by a gangster’s heavy punch to the head.
Now 18 years old with a deficient body, he will have to find a way to navigate this World’s deep waters, where Fighters with transcendent Physical Attributes were merely at the bottom of the power scale. From Intrinsic Superhumans to Elemental Cultivators, a single misstep and death could snatch him again, with everything he built in this new life disappearing as if a mere illusion.
Fortunately, his Reincarnation came with three incredible gifts: an Equalized Adaptive Physiology Perk, a Soul Bond Perk, and a Soul Shield Perk. Armed with those three Perks, the young man will grow his personal strength to protect not only himself but also his Aunt, Adeliya, and his two older cousins, Brynhild and Seraphine from this World’s hidden forces, and with some luck it may even help him deal with those new and growing feelings birthed from the collision of his two lives. ‘Choices have consequences’.
A story of tangled Reincarnations, Forbidden Love, and Cultivation to Immortality.

- TuliusIIRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0I have to give props to the author, the novel is interesting even though some of it's developments are not the most creative choices. The erotic parts are well written as well and while i'm not a big fan of the cultivator system presented in the story it do what is intended.
In general i would like a more intricate plot but i'm okay with what we have so far. The thing that should be praised the most is the hard work and continuous effort the author has put in this story. Looking foward for the next updates. - 42offsideRoyal Road★★★ 3.0Poor grammar. In particular, each paragraph in a dialogue MUST HAVE ONLY ONE PERSON SPEAKING. Failure to follow this rule has made the first few chapters a real struggle to follow. And possibly further, I stopped at #13. (In addition, in a dialogue, it's traditional that each speaker have EXACTLY ONE paragraph. If it turns into a monologue, then paragraphs may be inserted, but each should start with a double quote, but NOT END WITH ONE to indicate that the same person in continuing to speak.)
There's aunt/cousin romance going on, which has a disclaimer (and should.)
The pacing is very slow. Which is nice if the focus is on the relationships (which is as it should be, as opposed to on the smut) but it just wasn't able to pull me in to caring about these people.
But that may just be the choppiness of improper paragraphing.
I couldn't stand to read enough to get to a good fight/action scene (except in his first life, which was done OK) so can't comment much on that.
Demian seems more cardboard than he should be - not that I'm advocating internal monologue/angst, but
he's still keeping secrets about his past (previous life and current powers, which he knows) and his plans for the future (seducing his aunt and cousins so that he can share his agelessness and resilience.) Which in itself wouldn't be horrific, but it's at least a source of conflict/character growth that isn't given much screen time.
He could have spilled the beans fully and shown trust, or made a plan for how to reveal things (so it can come hilariously/tragically crashing down later) but he just doesn't seem to give it much consideration.
