The start is amazing! It has big Now lets do it again vibes. If you are willing to not make the worst out of every situation. This is what I would recommend if you want a strong MC isekai with actual goals and motivations and the climb to power without the MC losing their power or making the loss of relative power arbitrary. It does require a passing knowledge of Pokemon if you want to predict outcomes but the MC not knowing anything special about the world other than he is a fox that can now breathe fire helps the immersion and reading experience for a casual read. Recommended for someone who want to get into Pokemon OC fandom due to being not being weird, a grimdark fanfiction horror, or sexual in any nature. Highly recommended for all ages or reader profiles!

I was severely disappointed when I reached the end of the available chapters, and panicked, thinking I had got invested in yet another dead story. The best part of this story by far is the characters. Each character has their own perspective and feels like their own person. Alistar (The Fox Knight) acts and feels like an actual knight. Nora acts and feels like a young girl exploring and trying her best to not let her pokemon down. I have extremely high hopes for Chikorita, too - they want to
grow up and be a hero!

I wasn't sure I would enjoy a pokemon fan fiction, but I am loving this story and excited to see where it goes.
Three things I love:
1. The idea of a pokemon being a knight is soooo cute, I don't think I can get over it
2. Get to live out my power fantasy of getting an overpowered shiny pokemon for my starter
3. It's well written. No need to struggle through terrible grammar or pacing.

I am a pretty strict reviewer and I don't give out fives very often and this fic gets close. The premise, story, grammar, and conversations have all been good in the chapters I have read. For me having one of these suck is an instant make-or-break for stories and fanfics in general and this particular one is doing good. It isn't one of the best Pokemon fanfics out there but give it 20 ish more chapters and that might change. I can't wait to see where this fic will go.

There is a solid plot line so far, though we haven’t gotten into the journey yet. The reincarnating into the body of a Pokémon trope is a bit overdone, but I love the new spin on it that we haven’t seen before. The lack of knowledge on the plot makes this less of a self-insert and more of an OC fanfiction, which is great. One thing that might end up making me drop this is the punctuation. There are no commas anywhere, the sentences just keep going. I’m able to add them in mentally as I read, but it makes it difficult to immerse myself in the story. I do appreciate the Oxford commas at the end of lists though, so thanks for that. Overall the story is a solid 3.5/5, if the grammar was fixed I would give it a 4/5.
