- RznRoyal Road★★★★ 4.0This is a good short story that all builds to a grim realization. It is straightforward enough that a summary of the plot would spoil it and the reveal. I am not sure of it being of the grimdark type, but it does have the bleak atmosphere that is typical of horror. The prose is good and the story is clear, with a little bend at the end. It neither shocks nor really stands out because the voice is a bit passive. It is a good story and worth reading though!
