  Between this chapter and the last, we finally see the stakes. How he got here and also what awaits him if he loses.
  I don’t think we’ve seen the last of “Anime Girl” and the Thalmor either. Things are going to get real when Elenwen finds a file on him in their hands.

  This MC and his moments with the Daedra are second to none. He knows enough that he comes off as a bit of a troll, which he clearly is, but the fact that he does well enough that he can navigate some of them is fun. I love the scenes where he navigated well enough with Mephala, and his (time)-bender with Sanguine was awesome. Though, the sheer fact that he gained Mehrunes attention is bloody awesome. It does feel like he stumbles into these moments, like in your other fanfic, and he manages to bullshit his way from his pre-knowledge of the world as it stands.

  It's a nice story, and the author has clearly dived deep into Elder Scrolls lore. It's just a little over the top, I guess.
  The first even dozen or so chapters have a bit of a grounded feel to them, but it really quickly goes off the rails with absolutely crazy powerscaling. I assume that it makes sense in the lore and all that, but man am I just getting more and more lost.
  The romance is nice, with some well written spice. Which is basically all I understood. I'm not sure what even happened in the story. It's a bit of a fever dream.

  5 chapters in and im not sure if I will keep reading. There are quite a few Skyrim fanfics and a lot of them add more. The MC learns spells like the game charecter and the world doesn't seem to have been made much more intersting, just a little bigger. The only thing that this story has put any real attention to is the romance and if Large dominant nordic women are your thing then ig this story is cool. Its not a bad story but I would not call it interesting so far.
