A Dragon's Dungeon
Community Rating
Description
Dorn, a 3,000 year old silver Space dragon, has only wanted two things in his life: revenge, and the time necessary to get that revenge.
Kiera is a migrant farm worker, running from a troubled past, and doesn't expect the rest of her life to go anywhere. She's already given up hope of ever going back to her homeland with her head held high, and getting justice against those who drove her away.
Dorn builds a dungeon in the hopes of amassing a trained human army for his vengeance, and Kiera takes the chance to help, hoping for reciprocation. But the past is a murky thing; events are not always what they seem, and those who should be allies are frequently the greatest of enemies.

- RazinalRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0This is one of the best Dungeon stories because it doesn't loose itself in dungeon building and forgetting the rest of the world. It steadily progresses both the dungeon's side and adventurers's side simultaneosly.
- stadsRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0style like the flow of the story with nice pacing with the main dungeon side chars and factions
grammer score no fault her then again my grammer sucks :D so every one else would be hard pressed to make me notice something wrong
story like the theme and idea of the story a dragon dungeon learning how to manage his dungeon factions wars and after 3000 year be in a relationship :D
char score like the two main chars no much on the side chars other then the spy guild master but have good hope it gets fleshed out
love the dungeon fairy and there view on things - GeemanRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Has the exact amount of mixture that a dungeon core/master novel should have i.e World building, Character progression, Dungeon creation, Steady power increases and also very good integration of wuxia elements such as chi cultivation in a dungeon/magic style world.
- GreenKingRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Alright I am going to start by saying I was a little put off at first. The story seeemed not as fleshed out as it could be...but....thats the only issue.
After the first couple of chapters the story ramps into amazingness! Seriously a great dungeon core book that just seems to be getting more amazing as every chapter is released. - JULE_0298Royal Road★★★★★ 5.0I love dungeon building stories, and while the start is something that I like, the dungeon struggling to get new monsters or items, this is also a very good start as the MC is enough charismatic.
Hope you reach far with this story and I will be reading every chapter you write. - denkkarRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0It's a rare dungeon that's created with a well-defined purpose greater than grow "bigger faster" and that acknowledges that the best was to gain power is to provide living space for the prey... err dungeon delvers. My favorite part was the coliseum with redeemable victory points, bets, and rankings. Such irresistible bait! The avatar shenanigans are awesome too.
- King_FrostRoyal Road★★★★★ 4.5As of chapter 13.
As my title says, I was pleasantly surprised. I have some difficulties with dragon stories as often I do not see dragons acting that or that way. A thousand years dragon shouldn't be a whiny bitch and I find that this story picture well the image I have of a 3000 years old dragon.
Style is good. Its a third person POV and the author is doing a good job showing us instead of telling us. Eman7391 is also an adult and not a 14 years old on a power trip. It is organized and mature.
Grammar is also pretty good. There are few mistakes but nothing interrupting the flow of the story. The author is clearly an English speaker and the grammar is easily approaching the top of RRL.
The characters have some meat and are getting better as the story progress. The Dragon turned Dungeon is awesome even if there's some stuff I do not like. *cough* love story *cough*. Until now it is minor and not important so it is fine. Kiera the healer is also a good and likable character.
It also skip a bit of the slow grinding of new dungeon which is nice. A lot of dungeon stories are dropped before it get really far so we have some hope seeing this dungeon rekt some stronger adventurers.
All in all I do suggest this story to all.
King out! - Toby ZieglerRoyal Road★★★★ 4.0I found myself with a few, "Wait, what?" moments in an otherwise entertaining story. Dorn is patient enough to spend a thousand years collecting everything he thinks he needs to become a dungeon, but never bothers to find out what dungeons actually consider valuable? He is determined enough to fight his way to the core of the most powerful dungeon in the land, the first to actually show sapience to him, then casually destroys the core over an insulting manner?
Once I let these sorts of "Wait, what?" moments pass by, I found the dungeon part of the story entertaining with lots of clever bits, like a perfect crystal diamond and a stockpile of supplies. The characters don't always come off as real or intelligent, which is a shame, but doesn't kill the story.
I like this story, and I will continue to read it if the author ever chooses to pick it up again. I suspect it will only get more entertaining. - Daniel ScheffeRoyal Road★★★★ 4.0It’s a combination of divine dungeon and world keeper, keeping the good parts of both and dismissing most of the bad parts. I can’t talk about all the pros, since there are too many too count, but I can talk about the few cons.
cons:
I’ve noticed a lot of similarities between some other books. I can tell you that with me being an avid reader these stand out to me, and with eman7391 probably being a big reader, those are probably hard to avoid, and then those two combine to make them really stand out. (Also, some readers will temporarily add some ideas from the author they are reading)
pros:
Its my two favorite books combined into one! Like I said in the first thing, it is a partial combination of divine dungeon and world keeper, and so it makes me for one really like the book.
Notes
The cons were things that can easily be dismissed with no real effort, and I honestly don’t know if it is possible to fix them anymore without completely changing the book. I believe that if I as a picky reader can ignore the mistakes, than anyone can. Just don’t listen to the critics, and remember, If everyone is happy with what you have done, it is because you are not doing anything worth noticing. If you are working twords a goal, someone, somewhere, will have something negative to say about it. (Divine dungeon: Dungeon calamity) - AlphadragonRoyal Road★ 0.5The story is a repeat of other dungeon building elements only with cultivation instead of levels and a dragon instead of a human reincarnated dungeon core. the core became op from the first chapter with 5 to 6 elemental shields.
The story is not well done with a poor attempt of cultivation in the dungeon world will not recommend.
poor poor poor attempt
