If he wants a place for his family in the coming world, he will have to carve it there with his own two hands. Jack will do anything and everything to save the good people that he loves, but does that make him a good person, or is it the opposite?

The mundane world is disappearing as Earth is introduced to a larger universe where personal power is everything.

Very nice read, can't wait to see how it keep evolving. There is a lot more to this story coming. Unique progression scale and the characters are well thought out and vivid. I've read a bunch of progression fantasies but this one is up there with the best of them.

This was an interesting read. I did go all the way through to chapter 16. The characters seem to be developing at a good pace, and the story is solid. The world is not as deep as I would like to see, but the chapters are short and there is plenty of room to build off of.
The story has an interesting blend of magic, qi, and cultivation types. At least, that's the vibe that I got. The fact it takes place in the modern-day rather than the future or the past has me a bit intrigued.
The characters were ... a tad annoying at first. jack is still a whiney sack of turds. He's gotten his face handed to him several times but doesn't seem to be learning from it too well. His friends seem to be very, very secondary characters so far. I really want to see some solid development from them, possibly against a real long-term foe or even a tad bit of internal strife that means something.
My biggest issues are the grammar issues and large paragraphs. There were some double-line skips that I think may be time skips but I am not sure. Overall, 4.5/5.
I enjoyed the read. Keep up the great work.
