A beautiful scene

Description

I'm not good enough of a writer to truly get this scene correct. I've done my best but I know I've fallen short of what I see in my head.

It is a brief scene of a man at the end of his life. In my head it is ment to be hauntingly beautiful and has a constant score of music I probably cobbled together from different movies.  It might seem morbid so be warned before you read.

It lived in my head and I had to at least try to share this. I hope you can see at least a shadow of the beauty my twisted brain came up with.

    This has some good prose and great description. The premise is fairly simple and it dwells on those moments well. The imagery and the vocab work well, but it is a bit unstable in spots. This is a good short read, but it is a bit distant in its tone so that makes it hard to really sink into with such a depressing premise. This was good.

    When I clicked on last on the entire top rated list, I did not expect to see something like this.
    While it isn't the absolute best it is pretty good in story and character with me only wanting the reminisce scene to be slightly longer. Aside from that the only issue is that the wording was weird in places.
