This is one of three stories that I am offering as a test run. If you like it, then I'll choose to continue working on it. I have a whole plot line ready to explore!

What can I say, I'm a sucker for rebirth, regression, and transmigration stories. This one is a regression story. The main character get's yeeted back in the past, to where the end began. Read on tortured souls as I do my best to break the weak, and sooth those who don't have a soul to break. I spent some time trying to make a story that explores all the gritty situations a resident of the apocalypse would encounter. Unfortunately, I do struggle with pace. I get just as impatient as you when I can't get to the next bloody encounter. But I despise OP characters, and I really wanna stop and explore the fascinating death of civilization. I write this in hopes of making a main character who get's to be the bad-ass I can't be, without, you know, skipping the good stuff.

Love the concept, I've read RPG lit rewind stories and enjoyed them, but this is the first zombie apocalypse rewind story I've encountered.
It seems our MC and a few others have miraculously gone back in time after being killed in the future zombie apocalypse. Some of them try to warn everybody, but nobody believes them. Everybody knows zombie preppers are crazy.
Love the way the MC steals a truck. Once the zombies show up, who's going to bust him for it? I assume he maxed out any credit cards he had, too. Though that's not mentioned.
The story raises a lot of questions: why did this select group of people go back in time? Is the zombie apocalypse a random event, or part of something bigger? Will we see the nice old man again who helped him fix up his truck? And why is the MC in the city when the zombie apocalypse breaks out? If I was in his position, I'd be as far away from the city as I could get. But I also realize the story is just beginning, and hopefully, these questions will be answered.
Now as far as spelling, grammar and punctuation... let me put it this way. I strongly recommend the author get other people to look over the chapters before posting them. I know from experience it's easy to miss things other readers will pick up on. Also, I run my writing through both Prowritingaid, and Grammarly, both are free programs that pick up the occasional error that I'd otherwise miss.
I noticed paragraphs I thought would be vastly improved with a little trimming and revision. An example from your prologue is “Rein started to become much less careful” this could be changed to (Rein got careless)
As the first Zombie Apocalypse Rewind story I've encountered, I'm looking forward to seeing future chapters, to find out where the author takes it.
