There are many excellent stories on this website.  This is one of the few that is a work of literature.  Which ironically is probably why more people have not read it.  Most people on this site, myself included, come to this website looking for something light and entertaining and probably fantasy or science fiction.  (Which is not to say that a story cannot be entertaining and in these genres and also be a work of true literature.  The Lord of the Rings and Ender's Game come to mind.)
But this is a powerful coming of age story that is set in more or less our time and what appears to be a real place (though I imagine specific geographic details might be fictional). No fantasy, no science fiction.  Just an excellent story with great compelling depth and emotion.
I took off a point for the style score not because it is less than amazing, but only because I believe that the author would be well advised to present the story more clearly as what it really is (in my opinion anyway).  He humbly refers to it as a light novel.  I think that he needs to realize that it is much more, and let people know in the intro on this page.  I also think that while the story does not technically need any content warnings, it would be a good idea to let readers know upfront that there are psychological and interpersonal things that some people might want to avoid.  It doesn't happen on screen (we don't see it happen). but there are abuse and neglect of minors referred to as well as sexual relationships between what were underage people (in a lot of english speaking jurisdictions anyway).  Again, none of this happens where we as readers see it, but it is important to the story and some people might object.
The story is powerful.  There is a reason why I was thinking of Ender's Game. Even if the settings could not be more different.  It is definitely worth your time to read it.
Grammar: there are a few minor things where I think that the author missed something, usually just spell check cha

A strong character driven romance story
I had a great time reading this and would definitely recommend it to anyone who likes character driven stories, Author did a good job of establishing characters I actually cared about and was invested in early on and managed to expand upon and flesh them out realistically as the story progressed.
The story itself was a lovely journey and managed to have stakes and drama that felt natural and realistic for the situation but still made for an engaging read
In Summary: Amazing Likeable characters that drive an equally good story and a sweet romance, all extremely well written

My review is going to be a little biased as I like romances similar to this one, but I found this to be quite the enjoyable read.
I believe the strongest part of this book is its characters.  They are complex, changing, and likable. Another strong point is it's writing.  It's grammar is on point, it flows well, and the dialogue feels real.
While I'm not going to say this is a perfect story, if you love romance with a bit of drama, I encourage you to give this a try.
