Description

*Dropped*

A young world that has existed for less than a thousand years

Gods competing to shape that world in their image

An unlucky young man who finds himself with a new job he's surprisingly well suited for

Welcome to Turen

*A fun, moderately self indulgent fantasy litrpg

*Expect things to mostly be lighthearted with a focus on adventure

*1500+ words per chapter

*MC is relatively passive and go with the flow. I know that bothers some readers so I'm placing this note here as a disclaimer.

Overall: This story is exactly what it says on the tin: a fun, not particularly thinky isekai litRPG. It's set in a young world, where everyone is fully aware that they all came from elsewhere, which is a fun twist. I like what we've seen of the world, the System is perfectly adequate and has decent potential, and we've only gotten a glimpse of the pantheon but it was a great glimpse.
Style: Perfectly suited to the story. Functional, evocative when it should be evocative.
Grammar: Occasional minor errors, but I expect that most people wouldn't notice even those. Mostly they're errors in comma placement or lack thereof, with a smattering of apostrophized plurals.
Story: The one big twist we've seen thus far was pretty well telegraphed, but there's nothing to really object to as far as the story goes; it works, it's got hooks, it's got distance to go, and there's a wider world that the author will hopefully unfurl as we go.
Character: MC is pretty bland thus far (though occasionally he shines a bit) and the side characters don't really get a lot of color. I'd like to see more, well, character out of them; that said, there are glimpses of the promised depths, and I look forward to seeing more out of them.

Was I the only one to notice that? Sometimes it would just have a sentence so innocently.
And then it would have like 3 spaces. I guess it helped when viewing the system notifs since they weren't in tables. But still. AĀ  new way to show off passage of time I don't really agree with. Story is good regardless, of course. MC feels a bit dumb at the start but that's likely intended. Grammar is fine as well. 5/5

Story is well built and well developed. Truly enjoyed reading. The way MC enjoys conflict but all the while is having an internal conflict is captivating and makes me want to read more. The Kobolds seem like such an interesting race of beings as well. Smart and scheming! Cant wait for chapter 13

With a well built plot, wonderful and funny characters, and an interesting and well-made system, this is and will be one of my favourite stories for a long time. I sincerely hope it eventually comes back, even if it does become a STUB like the authors other stories. Take care.

The quintessential litrpg, written by an adept writer. It's just great. Really rooting for Cor and absolutely astounded about the places he will go. I like the magic system, so far a little bare but it's functional. Similar to DnD's system. The battles are great, the writer know how to do fight scenes well. All in all I'm enjoying THE RISE.

The idea to have the MC of an isekai LitRPG is an interesting one and one I think would work well despite it being rarely seen. It also is yet to be seen whether MC will stay as a lone wolf mercenary or join a team. I like the story so far for the characters and their introduction and the possibilities it brings. The grammar and readability were good and had no issues. It is a solid story so far that did a good job introducing the character right before dropping him in the young world.

It's an isekai done well in my opinion. You get pretty much what's on the package description. Don't have any complaints about the speed of the story or it's development of the characters. Of course I wish that the chapters were longer but that's just because I have a tendency to gobble up books.
Here's to many more chapters and hopefully we'll get to talk to a dragon!

Im excited to see where this goes. I had a hard time getting into it when it first dropped but I gave it another shot and I'm not sure if I gave it a fair shot or if it was re-written a little but once I started again, I fell into it and couldnt put it down.

The Isekai LitRPG is a well known trope and this seems like a good execution with some interesting takes.
If I can read a story and do not remember anything about the gramar and / or style at the end it can't be bad in my opinion. That's the case here. ( The only style complained I have is that there are better ways to format the system information ).
There are some interesting character including the MC but there is a general calmness about the MC, ( the MC himself acknowledges as weird ) that reduces the change of his thoughtprocess in tense situations or panic.
7 Chapters is not that much to judge the plot, but there is constant development and progress, which bodes well. Furthermore the author has written another webnovel here that he brought to a satisfying end after 50 chapters, so he also get's the benefit of the doubt from me.

Good, almost classic start to a isekai.
System elements are there, no blue boxes.
Think a DnD campaign in the Underdark.
    Dwarves and Kobolds etc.
Great story, no mechanical issues, good humor.
Cast is slowly taking shape. MC is good temp office worker, the rest are unsure if they part of the final party. Got a nerd and a jock so far.
Not sure how large the world is going to become, but it looks promising.
