In the year 2122, a peculiar VRMMORPG came out. It was strangely set in modern times, yet delved profusely into space exploration. Players would be able to commandeer spacecraft in entirely realistic situations and explore the solar system in its entirety. The only science-fictional aspect were the so-called "Meta-drives" which allowed a broader approach to exploring the galaxy via opening wormholes.

At first he thought he was still playing the game. But when Jay Alexander's in-game colony ship,The Odyssey, malfunftions when traversing a wormhole, he and his crew of 5,500 along with 10,500 civilians wind up in an entirely new reality completely!

Unfortunately, with no signs leading towards earth, suppllies are running low, and worse yet - two of his brothers were dragged along with him!
